I randomly decided to go home and visit my family for a few days, I'll be back after the 1st. Posting will be sporadic till then.
As for Macavity, I don't even know what's going on with him. When I talked to him he sent me tells asking if he should roleclaim because he was close to getting lynched; this is what made me think he was a Town power, and I told him to keep it to himself because by that point the lynch had already moved off him. Then when Xenia claimed I asked him straight up if he was the Luminary because, if he was, then we hit a jackpot! At which point he told me he considered claiming as the Luminary in the thread...then told me he was actually a Vanilla Townie. I have no idea what he's trying to do and it certainly doesn't look beneficial to Town but I'm not sure if he's just trolling, because I can't possibly see the Mafia motivation in his actions.
As far as roleclaims, I only asked for the Luminary personally because that would get a surefire Mafia. I presented why telling me and only me was fine, as even if I was Mafia I would not be able to kill them as the only one to know, and if I feigned ignorance of not knowing in the thread that person could out me as well. Mafia team has no Roleblocker so if I was Mafia there's not much I could do being the only person to know and having everyone know I knew.
I haven't had time to review all of Ilyon's posts but I do recall seeing and noting that, despite following me with his votes, he did a lot of soft finger pointing at me which felt pretty suspicious as he was all too happy to vote with me.

I read this two or three times, and I'm just confused but don't want to just regurgitate my previous arguments, cause that's boring. That said, no one posted here for several days.
Sorry! I've been working quite a bit lately and just really caught up on all the posts. I really don't know what to add, and I don't want to make a random vote. Everyone is suspicious to me because I learned you can never trust anyone. Unless people start making posts, it's really difficult to gauge who is who. Moreso than usual. I'd rather weed out the quiet quiet ones though.
@Ilyon, I honestly have not been persuaded by your defense, because instead of defending yourself, you just kinda shrugged it off and started finger-pointing at other people. However the speed at which this bandwagon formed alarms me. (I mean, it took a couple days, but then BAM all the people I found suspicious suddenly band against him? Hmmm)
And, I know you lead the charge against Valenae, @Omei, but your push to accuse and hang him high is very suspicious to me.
I'm torn
I kinda feel like maybe Ilyon is innocent because of the sudden train on him, but I feel like his self-defense has been -really- poorly done, which makes him look guilty.
Voting for him gives a worst case here: We got good information about voting patterns and band-wagoners, and lost a relatively quiet, minimally attentive townie.
I'm not even sure what you would consider to be an effective defence -- the only facts that are relevant, other than my "regular lifer" status that I have no way to prove, are what's already posted on the thread. All I can do is attempt to find a better target.

So early in the game and I'm such a newb at this! As a fellow lurky-lurker, I feel kinda bad for pointing out Ilyon, but he HAS been just quiet enough to make me suspicious.
@Aryanne I am very sorry you find my desire to keep the game moving suspicious. If you have a better target, you are completely free to explain your logic. Until such time, I think you have made a very good case for why we should vote for Ilyon. There is no point in playing this game halfway, in my view - we have a lot of uncertainty, combined with a lot of suspiciously quiet people, and that forces us loud ones to compensate accordingly.
@omei haha, only a -little- suspicious to be honest. You know, compared to some other folks reasoning. It was more that last "Come on guys! Two more! Lets hang him high!"
But, yeah, ultimately this day has drug on quietly way too long, so I understand your "COME ON PEOPLE LETS DO SOMETHING ALREADY " motivation
And, no, I really don't have a better target. My list of "secondarily suspicious" people still applies, though.
Shadows hang really really darn heavy over this night. It's almost like they are keeping the person up top, that one in charge of day and night, busy and distracted. Weirdness.
Anyways, something goes bump in the night. And then bump again. And then a third bump for good measure.
Morning dawns to find a well-bludgeoned corpse of Aryanne casually discarded at Four Corners. So young, so innocent, so lifer. So dead. So long.
For my part, Ezalor assessed that Esper might be scum back in the first round. What I have noticed since then is that he's largely fallen quiet, particularly as roles have begun to fall; this, to me, indicates that he's beginning to feel more comfortable, and he's letting his guard down and not being quite as stringent about appearing to be an active participant or a Lifer.
As the numbers drop, the scum get closer and closer to controlling the vote, so my guess is that complacency is setting in; they're nearly there, why do they have to try so hard, after all. It's also possible that people are slowly losing interest in the game, or that their newness to it is encouraging them to watch and learn instead of involving themselves more directly. As our late Luminary has proved, it is very, very easy to mess up.
However, Esper isn't a new player. He's played this game before, and to begin with he was an active, logical participant who I was against killing. I find his relative silence, in light of the preceding rounds, incredibly suspicious, more so than the various quiet Mafia newbies we count among our ranks.

Also. Can I get a headstone with "I told you that I'm innocent" engraved on it?
