Well, another question then, if I have white amulet and blessing consistently(which I seem to), is it worth it at all to buy +1 str arti? I was told it doesn't stack with those, but I'm not sure of that either. Or do you have to buy at least +2 str to get +1 more than what white/blessing gives you?
Never go higher or lower than +2, unless you're rolling in the dough. For example, at level 100 a single point of con gives you what, an extra 300 hp? For two points, you get 600, but that's what...1k credits? So another 500 more. Then, in order to get the last 300 health, you have to spend -another- 1000 credits(what you paid for 2 points of con to begin with), for a SINGLE point of con. For 300 hp. Not 600.
I'm pretty sure con is cheaper than that, but just think about that for a minute. Think about if you were buying points in str. How much do you think you're going to get out of one point of str? What about two? Or a whole -three- points. Maybe 2-300 damage. Maybe 500, if you're like, a monk or something. But then you need knuckles too. Or claws if you're lycanthrope. Or a cutting rune, + a rune of empowerment.
Then if you have multiple classes, the artifact that lets you remove a rune from a weapon costs -another- 600 credits. Go look at how much credits cost, and ask if it's worth it. I mean, it might be to you. But honestly, that's the thing I really like about Syssin most of all, even though I did cry solid salt tears when they refunded me for my Celestine dirk. You don't even really need a crown or any +stats to be good. All you need is a charm.

With the April promotion for relic pieces, am I mistaken or is the ONLY way to get them to buy credits off of the website in chunks of 100cr or more at a time? Do they not come in chests also?
And if the former is correct, with the bonus +3 pieces only given when you buy 500cr at once ($168.99 for 500cr, $299.99 for 1000cr, $441.99 for 1500cr, etc)...am I missing something, or is it going to be impossibly hard to collect more than one complete relic set without dumping paychecks worth of cash into credits?
Help me out here, I seriously hope I'm reading that promotion post wrong, or that I've misunderstood somewhere. It just seems unattainable/unfair the way I'm seeing it right now.
EDIT: Also-- So let's say I buy 100cr and get one piece. It's not for something I want, and I can't get anyone to take it off my hands. I'm now able to trade it in for a TENTH of the credit equivalent? How...what...?

@Ishin - Or you can be a real man, no charm needed whatsoever.
How the hell do you get unenemied to Delos? There's no box I can find, there's no sign, there's nothing in help delos, there is no help laws delos, searching the announce posts with the word Delos in them would take long enough for me to just roll a new character and bash up the gold to buy the credits I've already invested in him. I would like to ask...the only way to use Deathlore if you have Carnifex class is to get a soul stone, and the only way to get a soul stone currently is by going in the Carnifex guildhall, right? I just wanted to clarify this information is accurate that I have been told, as I don't know much about the class.

Yep. It's not a problem though. If you have the class they'll basically escort you in, let you get it, then escort you back out. That's what they did for me, at least.

Right, so. I'm told the 'of X heritage' bit, was taken out 'for the moment'. Is it going to stay out? Or at least be toggleable somehow? I'd really like to know before I make the choice to participate in this. Awesome as it is otherwise, I have no desire to permanently put something else in my description, particularly on a character whose endgames descriptions don't really reflect their heritage race.
Also--will it give us back haven points (or as skill, whichev) we spent to get raceskills we'd have had anyway? I.E. Xorani heritage endgame bought fire breath with skill points 'cause this wasn't a thing?
Hm. Is the free language still a thing, or is it henceforth always going to be your heritage language?

@Xenia@Ishin Well, I figured since they wouldn't apprentice me, it'd be hard to get in the guildhall. It was easy though, @Carivah helped me out. Yay Deathlore. Can't wait to get paid tomorrow and learn Warhounds and the rest of Deathlore. Carnifex feels pretty OP so far! I love it.

I'd like to know this too, I've not chosen a race yet because I have no desire for all of Aetolia to know what Zaephlyn was before he ascended. He rushed to Idreth for a reason and unless someone asks about his past, he has no reason to divulge what race he was.
Also--will it give us back haven points (or as skill, whichev) we spent to get raceskills we'd have had anyway? I.E. Xorani heritage endgame bought fire breath with skill points 'cause this wasn't a thing?
Probably will not be getting any points back seeing as the skills are different. Breathe Fire, the skill we can currently purchase, is different than what they're offering. Pretty sure at least!
Fireblast (heritage) and firebreath (racial) are two entirely different things. All of the heritage racials are unique from the racials that have been around.
"You ever been divided by zero?" Nia asks you with a squint.
The heritage skills are, yes, but I believe (and correct me if I'm wrong) that what Erzszszeeszesze is saying is that when you go from, say, Atavian to Tekal, you lose a few racial skills. You have to spend (I think) five points on Flight, Hover, and Air Stability in order to recover racial skills that were lost, as an Atavian going to endgame. Same thing with Xoran...if you were Xoran you had the firebreathing skill for many levels, then you went endgame and had to spend points on it again if you wanted to keep it. With the whole "when you become endgame you automatically keep all the racial skills of your heritage race, plus your fancy new endgame heritage skill listed below" clause, it means that those of us who went from Xoran to endgame, or Atavian to endgame, etc...we spent raceskill points that we wouldn't normally have to if we got endgame -now-.
tldr - Talking about regular racial skills that are auto-granted on ascension, not the nifty (really actually pretty awesome) new skills for each race.
I just wanted to say that while I think a lot of these are cool, you guys have successfully put PK above RP with these racials again. It was really, really, REALLY hard to not go Human heritage when Drai was Xorani. And if your main class is x then y racial is better than z, etc etc. Imp is also completely useless. Kinda like how they should all be, imo. Useless, but flavorful.
"You ever been divided by zero?" Nia asks you with a squint.
I was mhun, that blessing doesn't stack with blessing, I'm not choosing mhun. Poor RP? Most definitely, but I'm not cutting my foot off when hardly anyone checks descriptions.

Is that really a thing? I'm not an avid RPer or anything but I generally always check peoples descriptions o.O

How else would you know that Aishia is a three-headed half-harpy, half-human, half-plant unicorn.

This is why I haven't chosen a heritage yet. I'm stuck between sticking true to Zaephlyn's roleplay or taking the more tactical route and choosing purely based off mechanical desire, as many others have stated. Kind of sucks
For me, it's not that people will choose for mechanics that bugs me, (though they will, undoubtedly), it's that you can't necessarily look at someone's endgame form and know what they were before. Some people, sure, started raja, still more or less look raja as endgame, and you can guess. Kiralla still looks tsol'aa, more or less, +antlers and faerie wings. But some people started human and are now covered in fur, or scales or whatever, so there's no way in hell you -know-. I have an endgame atavian, who has no wings right now. You'd think human, if anything. And you'd think harpy, when she finishes her ascension, not atavian. Erz, could have been any one of the human-type races before she ascended. I think it gives way too much information that -should- be gained through roleplay, not an addendum to all the stuff thats already crammed into the first sentence of one's desc.
Questions remain:
1) Is there any chance we're going to get a toggle for this? I'd really like to play too, but I don't want this addition to my desc. 2) If not a toggle, though that makes more sense from an IC standpoint, for the above reasons, I would totally buy an artifact that hides it, on pretty much every endgame alt I have. >.> 3) @Rivas explained my point return question pretty coherently, am referring to things like flight, and so on. If I have flight/air stability/hover, will the points I have in those be returned if I were to choose Atavian? I know it's not a huge deal to most people, because most people have 500+ haven points, but I have to claw for mine because I absolutely hate to bash. Or straight up buy them with real money on the rare occasion that's a thing that is possible. 4) Do we still get a free language, or does heritage replace that?
ETA: All the last bit, stupid lag glitched out and pushed the post comment button for me, so helpfully.
If you can't sense someone is of racial heritage, how the hell do you sense they are azudrim, idreth, or yeleni since no two look alike even remotely. The only thing that would give it away is warmth/miasma which wouldn't always be up or noticeable. As an aside, if you don't bash/pk and don't want heritage visible, why take it? It's only a mechanical effect and you already want it to be rp'd.
Or how does everyone know each other's name, know details in their honors, or relative might, or circle, or use tells? In fact, I'd say since anyone can learn monk skills everyone is a telepath, just not formally trained enough to do anything with it unless they take up monk.

I'd be offended if that wasn't usually the answer.
