VICTORY BURGERS...Long Live the Queen and Transformers the Movie (1980s style). Happy Independence/Day out of work! I totally slept in until 8:30 today, guys! It was GLORIOUS!
I'm torn because where I grew up (Ohio) everyone said pop, and I also said pop for the longest time. Then I spent the majority of my twenties in Florida and Missouri, where everyone says Soda. And now I'm in Texas, and it would be a mortal sin to say the P-word... soooo yeah.
Indorani has always been my favorite class, and I love that it's viable again.
Happy Ashmer is happy.
I liking it a lot too.
1. There's a viable 1v1 class I can play that doesn't involve going undead. 2. The class isn't painful to get - the Indorani folk are pretty cool about apprenticeships.
To be honest I never took to Indorani. It's a magic class, and my class preference in RPGs has always been sneaky class -> physical class -> magic class. Then I heard about the Indoron Empire, and having played the class, I really like how that history and lore accentuates the play experience. When you do well in a fight, you imagine/'recall' how the Empire used to rape the lands - their kill is a brutal and cruel one, and it is themed around helplessness. When you have someone locked/shriveled up, that's helplessness and despair. Then when you get whooped, you remember it is a fallen empire, and get a bit humbled from it. All in all, that lore adds a lot to the play experience, which I appreciate. Kudos to whoever came up with that history/backstory.
I like the 4th of July. Some people make it seem like being patriotic isn't okay (or at least isn't cool or hip), but not on the 4th. Also, bbq is good and fireworks are neat.
I feel sorry for that cat though. It's spent the evening hiding in terror of the loud noises coming from nowhere. As far as she's concerned, this is the end of days.
I know lot of folk aren't churchy types, but I'm actually looking forward to tomorrow's service. My mother always does a post-July-4th service with patriotic songs and readings from the declaration and the different letters involved (including Remember the Ladies), which is pretty neat, and it's neat seeing people get so festive and involved with it.

ALSO: BEST NEWS EVER
POP LIVES.
When you open a can of Pepsi, it doesn't go, 'Sssooddaaaaa"
It goes, "Pop."
Boom.
It's hard enough finding a damn bathroom until you realize everybody calls them toilets.
Also, it's soda here. Pop makes me think of pop rocks or bad, addicting music.
Murphy: Hey Doctor, what happens if I taze an exoskeleton with a little asshole inside?
Doctor: Well I...think we're all curious to find out.
Maddox: Go ahead!
Murphy tazes him.
Maddox screams in pain and writhes on the ground.
Shit so lol.
