Love to all you wonderful people. I love this job. I've never had so many people check on me and care what's going on.
I'm fine, btw. I live in a magic bubble between all the rivers that are flooding, and I'm north of the reservoirs that are breaking/releasing. I'm still trapped in said bubble, but it is a mostly dry place.
After, I kid you not, YEARS of trying to find an apartment I could afford, I've finally found one. I sign the lease on the 8th and I couldn't be more excited!
Coming from a player idea, I'd like to present a new OUTFIT system for you all!
I no longer have to fake things with CONCEALED. After all you never know when a Divine might spy on you
Typically In Game: JST (GMT+9) 6AM-8AM and 6PM-10PM

Another little change got snuck in courtesy of @Tiur that was an idea from the little comic I drew in Drawings of Aetolia.

You slip a simple glass bottle inside a carrier tube and fasten it to a tiny pet rock's body. Lifting a tiny pet rock up in your hand, you throw it into the sky with all of your might.
I'm on my third week at my new job and I love it so far. Super interesting being the environmental specialist for a power plant; I get to be in charge of several water and emissions processes, deal with all sorts of filters, pumps, chemicals, analyzers, and 100 other things. I also have a hydro dam and a jet engine turbine that I get to play with. Every day has been an episode of thats how it's made, and every day I can't believe how quickly 8 hours has gone by. It also pays stupid high for Vermont, I get a pension, and good health care.
tldr, job, happy I'm no longer unemployed.
ps, I'm likely not coming back like I thought, I'm putting 100% of my energy into learning this new job.

I love that today has been fairly quiet with my event I'm having to watch over, so I've nearly caught up on all my tickets/work save for a couple of things and even cleaned the floors. I finally feel like I'm making headway.
ok, i didn't say "no" but that doesn't mean i'm going with you!!!
Indoran'i is back baby. It's good again. Awoouu (wolf Howl)
An Atzob cultist says, "Is a shamatato as tasty as a potato?"
(Tells): From afar, Mephistoles hisses harshly to you, "Hey baby, show me your ovipositor?"
The mighty Jy'Barrak Golgotha opens his maw, catches the glowing spear in his many jagged teeth, and chomps down. The Divine spear breaks with a noise like thunder, shards toppling from the Emperor's jaws. "OM NOM NOM!" He declares, then spits the last of the ruined weapon from his lips.
Today we said farewell to my father. The ceremony was beautiful, the eulogy pointed at all the right aspects of him, the flower arrangement had the right amount of nature and summer notes, the music hit all the right notes, and it all felt right.
Many people came and shared their memories with us afterwards, which gave me a warm feeling, knowing that there were plenty of others that he had touched in some significant way. I miss him and I always will. There's no denying it. He was the second most important presence in my life and he has influenced me in so many ways. However, through that, and the memories he left with so many people, he lives on. I know he was proud of his children, and his grandchild.
To all of you, never take anyone for granted. Enjoy the moments you have with your loved ones, remind them how much you love them, and how proud you are of being part of their lives, helping to write the story of their lives.
I'm much in the same boat, @Teani. The ceremony isn't until Tuesday, but I know exactly what you're speaking of.
And just to post my own odd love. My mother had been declining for several months now, just gradual elderly type decline. But, after digging into things more, seems it was worse than I knew or she'd have ever told me. So, it's quite a relief more than anything to know she's at rest now. I've had more relief from all of this than actual sadness, which is a new but good feeling for me.
Also loves @Nola for being willing to give me art critique. I really really value you both as an artist and as a friend. Am super glad Aet let me meet you.
Also sending loves @Nola in a compassionate sense, because car accidents suck, and she is safe and awesome but her car is sadface.
...while I'm giving art-loves, loves @Eleanor for giving me some tough love on IRC ages ago (like, 2010?) in respect to art. While Nolalala has been helpful throughout the journey, it was you who gave me the push I think I needed to even -start- the journey.
And in general @ All aetolian artists. You guys help keep me inspired to keep pursuing my own art as well.

You open a carrier tube fastened to a tiny pet rock and retrieve a simple glass bottle from inside it.
Hurtling in from parts unknown, a pet rock lands here, narrowly missing you
I love it so much.

Cute-Kelli by @Sessizlik.
Pretty sure I married up. Just look at that handsome man.

Thank you, Aetolia, for bringing us together <33
Congratulations on the union! You guys are amazing people.
...but seriously, I'm going to need a headcount of how many marriages this game is responsible for.
