Was back to hosting weddings this weekend (not having done one for 7+ months due to Covid) and with one more next week, I've no idea when the next one will be.
I'd like the world to go back to normal now please kthanx
Went for a lovely Christmas Eve dinner yesterday. I couldn't be happier about the food spread and the ability to be outdoors eating festive delights and enjoying the atmosphere.
Although 2020 has been a relatively terrible year for all of us, one thing I'm definitely glad about is that I returned to playing Aetolia on a consistent basis after 10 real years of hiatus. It has allowed me to catch up with people whom I had lost contact with over the years, and forge new friendships that I'm content with. I have found that the relationships I've forged from IRE are ones that have lasted the longest and bear the most meaning to me, considering the fact that they are all built through an online medium.
Here's to a very Merry Christmas to everyone, and onward to a happier 2021.
My Cosplay of Commander Morrison (Soldier: 76 - Overwatch)
Spent the last 4 hours or so cutting the video from this for Blizzard's Cosplay Contest. Wish me luck folks!
These are some of my favorite shots from it thus far, I'll probably pull more out of them later. Hopefully when COVID settles down I'll be able to do a shoot..not in my backyard.
@Gavramel - Thanks! The visor was a little annoying at first, but I sort of adjusted to it. I was wearing color contacts too..but my eyes are green, and the adjustment to 'blue' just made them sort of a gray-blue and was the most subtle thing that I doubt anyone could tell. (I certainly can't even tell in the video.) Those were more annoying than the visor.
Having to shave off my goatee and mustache..and sideburns, that hurt my soul. Luckily work from home, so I can regrow my hair in private!
2019 was an awful year for me - lost three good friends to death or suicide, suffered a miscarriage that put me in the emergency room several times due to blood loss, and was finally diagnosed with depression. It took me six months of therapy in 2020, many of those restricted to online due to Covid, but I'm starting to feel in a better place to celebrate two new victories of 2020 ❤
First, I'm now 6 months pregnant with a baby boy! 💙 I really wanted to give a heartfelt thank you for those who supported me during my grief, especially @Aloli , who was there for the worst of my breakdowns. You're a blessing ❤
Second, despite these hard times in 2019-20, my husband and I saw increases in our incomes and we were able to buy a new house at the end of 2020. We're really thankful our son to be will be growing up in a good neighborhood unlike the ones we grew up in 😂 It's something we don't take for granted.
Here's to hoping everyone's 2021 becomes better ❤

(Tells): Sir Iames Gallant, the Executioner tells you, "The one Illuminai beyond prayer, I swear."
Valingar: "How could a daughter of me, the most noble man in the south, be so heartless?"
(Tells): Haven Locke, Illuminai Khimaira tells you, "Be that as it may, I've also seen the strength in you. You can take care of yourself."

I'm really happy to see where you are today compared to back then and I'm excited for your journey into motherhood! You deserve all the best and all the sleepless nights ❤
I went chasing Northern Lights this evening, but it was a bit too clouded, meaning they reflected the moonlight a bit too much to see clearly. Also, the clouds were definitely too dense near the horizon to pick up any form of glow.
That there can be such a small difference between angels and demons, @Zeheia, is quite incredible. Your picture reminded me of my own when she was little, many many years ago:
My son loves to video edit and compose music, aside from playing the piano, so I got him new softwares to play around with and he made this.
A little background, I go to sleep early because I work early and he stays up sometimes (until the computer enforces bedtime for me). He made this to show me what goes on when I'm asleep and he picked a snippet from a song I liked playing on repeat when I was studying for an exam, it annoyed him after the 5th time but I wasn't even listening because of how focused I was!

Still, the moon looked kind of nice!
