The right one was crooked. It's been bothering me for days, so finally I take out all of my other earrings and mess with them. I take out the left one, clean it well, and put it back in with minimal difficulty. I take out the right one and put in my gold hoops in all of my holes in that ear (this piercing makes five in each ear) to see if they line up properly - they don't. So I take everything back out and try to put the piercer back in to talk to Ansnom about what to do when he gets home........ only I can't get it back in. I mess and mess and mess, and finally am like WELL, IF IT'S GONNA HURT ANYWAYS....
The earring isn't crooked anymore. I'm surprised I didn't pass out.
Then, like maybe half an hour later, I go back to look at something and realize that left one I put back in? I put it in the next lowest hole. So I had to work it back through too. Not as traumatizing as the other, but still distressing.

END RESULT: My earrings are straight now!
Huzzah! I have re-pierced my first and second holes twice, myself and my third about four times. Apparently, for my last one, fourth time is the charm. ISo, I know your pain, my darling.
Oh god! Another one like me! I've had my ears pierced since I was 7 years old but I keep letting them close because they weren't aligned right and I noticed. So every time I go out someplace fancy or wear earrings, I end up shoving the earrings through scar tissue for the night. I get so ridiculously OCD about piercings that I just don't touch them outside of those moments.
I had a plan today. It involved spending an hour or two hanging with an old friend, going grocery shopping, coming home, making a meal, and vegging out with a book and a beer.
The hangout started around two pm and ended only at ten fifteen because I had to catch a bus home and shower/sleep before work tomorrow.
So, love to unexpectedly lengthy and appealing rekindling of a friendship, with long conversations on everything from life philosophies to the various reasons why the image of a unicorn goring a care bear is acceptable and hilarious. Bonus: She'd drawn said image for me, and efforts are underway to have it turned into a tshirt. That'd be the second artist's rendering of a unicorn goring a care bear that someone has made for me, and I am only too glad to begin a collection.

Kid discovers Bastion for the first time. Nothing quite like it. Kid ain't sure if any stranger could bust Morgan Freeman, but he does know this fella sure comes close.
to Aarbrok for his work at that event. You are the master Ringmaster! Also to everyone else from Spinesreach who showed up and made some magic. We may have a burned-down tent, but I have memories!
So...Stabs got back his ACT scores - he made a 31. All of that worrying and he blows the damn thing out of the water. I'm pretty sure he'll be able to get into his first choice school now. Hopefully.

I never took my ACTs, I slept in that day, but for the SATs, I was up early as hell.
Said a last Farewell to my friend today. The ceremony was one of the most heartbreaking moments of my life, for many reasons, but afterwards... so much love. I've never felt so much love Before, ever. However difficult it was, I needed it, and I got to show my respect to one of the most inspirational persons I have ever met, as well as his family. So yeah, difficult day, but so much love. So, so much love.
The encouraging words I get from people when I get involved in bettering my combat skills. I know I'm slow and not very good, but I'm trying and it's nice to see that some people take notice.
I love that I've been able to get help with coding in mudlet. A little bit from some of my buddies in MKO and a little from @Zsadist's Chairman arse :P
Most of it has come from @Serrice and @Konai, and I really appreciate it guys. Thanks
