Finally got a Nintendo DS, and got both Pokemon X and Y for cheap. I also went and bought Fire Emblem Awakening, which I've been wanting to play for months. So happy right now.

Actually, I call it breeding super soldiers. At least I haven't spent hours trying to catch 9 Eevees like my brother's been doing with Pokemon and trying to get all of the Eeveelutions. >_>

I also recently got Dragon's Age Origins and Awakening, both of which I still haven't finished. The only game that would make my life complete right now is Persona 4 Golden, which I'd need a PS Vita for.

I am trapped with only that FE. And my copy of Dragon's Dogma just reached the house, where I am currently not.

FE is driving me insane, I keep playing perfectly and getting one-shot with a crit from some random guy who runs across the whole damn map to murder someone.

The only Fire Emblems I've played before Awakening were Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn, which were actually kind of hard. I also got badly RNG-screwed with a few units that were supposed to be really good.

In Awakening, I accidentally got Sumia killed in the very same chapter I got her because I put her a little too far out in front and she got flanked on three sides. >_>

I played Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon(should be the title), and only lost the dude you had to sacrifice, but I think they counted an unrecruited person against me

I love the event. Admittedly, I had more fun raging at the mobs than I did doing the quest, but it was all fun. ^_^

Speaking of the event, I love this little bear cub minipet I got from it.

About the size of a normal hound, this black bear cub is a miniature version of its full-sized brethren, with the unparalleled adorableness of youth. Four small paws with soft black pads sport long claws that aren't quite long enough to do any real harm, though functional enough to permit it to climb quite well at its age. Its fuzzy black coat sticks out everywhere, and its rounded ears are too large yet for its head. Black, beady eyes gaze out curiously at its surroundings, and the cub frequently has its mouth hanging open to display its sharp white teeth and pale pink tongue. He is called 'Tibber.'
A fuzzy black bear cub looks weak and feeble.

Training someone at work to take over my old job makes me realize just how proficient I was at it. A pretty good, ego-inflating feeling.

Also: I use still use my old desk when the new person isn't around, and she's a huge neat-freak who MUST HAVE EVERYTHING IN ORDER AND TIDY person. And I'm not. While this might drive her crazy eventually, I absolutely love that when I get back to my desk it is SO CLEAN! I love clean and tidy and organized spaces, I'm just terrible at maintaining them myself.
