I was semi-tempted to make a new thread for this, but then I realized that the title of this thread is QUOTES and mis-quotes. So I guess it's not intended to just always be the funny stuff. Anyway, I was absolutely blown away by this insightful quote from @Slyphe in a recent RP. To the point where I re-read it half a dozen times because it so perfectly captured (to my mind at least) the thought pattern of a Divine who could not necessarily understand a mortals desire/drive to self-sacrifice. A concept that would be almost entirely alien to them.
