  • ArbreArbre Arbrelina Jolie Braavos
Everything is bought with bound credits unless you're gifting to someone else.
  • Thought so but with mailin Raz, I thought to double check :P Thanks

  • I'm just now seeing mount armor in shops for the first time...is this new, or am I dumb? Or both?

Also (and more importantly), how does it work, and are there any commands associated with it?

  • That was put in just tonight actually! Here's the changelog with all the pertinent info:

    +--------------------------- CHANGELOG ENTRY #405 ----------------------------+
    |  Entered by: Nevlar                              Date: 2013/09/17 02:47:33  |
    +--------------------------------- CHANGE ------------------------------------+

Stables now stock mount armor for your gold-bought stable mounts!

To outfit your mount with armor, simply purchase the suit from your
stable, then GIVE it to your mount. Doing so will properly change the
description of your mount to reflect such, and increase your mount's
    health pool slightly.

    A few notes:

    - This is, as of now, a permanent change. Only give the armor to the
mount if you're ready to keep it that way!

    - This will only work on mounts that are loyal to you.

    - This will, again as of now, not work on the mounts bought ouside of
city stables (like the more expensive gold mounts) or the credit mounts
    purchased within the city stables.

    - While armor purchased from other cities will work on mounts shared
between stables, it will not work if your city stable does not sell that
particular type of mount there. (See: Bloodloch's Ponies versus
Spines/Duiran/Enorian Ponies, or the different varieties of stallions in
    each city)

    @nevlar when you say slightly...

--how much are we talking about here.  like under 100 health or higher?
--does this give damage reduction on a certain percentage with the armour on the mount??
--More importantly will this stop people from one hitting the mounts and killing them??

The mount armor addition is primarily an aesthetic change for the sake of flavor. That said, from a technical perspective the armor adds 1,000 health to your mount. It does not provide any damage reduction.
  • So what you're saying is that Aetolia just got horse armor dlc.

  • It's quite similar to the custom forgers that each city has, except this actually does add something in terms of stats to your mount.

Has anyone figured out the trick to making the new mxp orghelp stuff work? Atm Spirean helpfiles come pre-drunkified for you, as all of the [[ ]] stuff is pasting right into the CHELPs :/

That's weird. I just updated Duiran's with the markers and it highlights it all white, so I know the MXP took. I only see it if I go back in to edit the file. It doesn't allow me to click, though, which is likely a client-end issue.

<edit> This is what an example looks like. Not tested, but it does show up right white for me:

    - GOLD: Even in the wilds, we need to rely on commerce every now and

then. Here in Duiran, we have a minor planthopper problem, so you can

You probably need to do CONFIG MXP ON.

I think it's an issue with the index itself - it doesn't seem to like us using mxp in there.
  • SolariaSolaria Charlotte, NC
    edited September 2013
Ah, yeah, hadn't tried it there yet because of the setup of the Duiran index.

<edit> Well, crap, I just noticed I messed them all up now. I have to redo them..

@Damonicus you know you have a space in your rebirth just before the [[...  that might be throwing it off, but currently nothing is working in my Teradrim setup.

One scroll also gave me an untrapped error.

Am I to assume that Numerology veil and the Teradrim skill both trump the hood artifact?

I'm trying to figure out a combination of skills and artifacts that'd allow someone to be completely unidentifiable in a room. So far I reckon: gem of cloaking, coin hood of obscurity, necromancy shroud, and I guess numerology veil? Just have to unsummon ents so you're not identified that way? And of course not heal/use items?

if IC hood is still revealed in the GMCP tables of which player it is.  So even though we cannot see who it is by looking at the room, those of us who have GMCP set up to list players in the room will tell us who it is.

  • So I've been trying to go after the Marcello line since I was in the Templars. The first time I went after him I managed to get the first kill... But nothing happened. I know you have to kill him a few times and take out bandits. But normally he comes back from the dead so you can do that. He didn't do that the first time.

Then I went and just tried again.... Again nothing happened on the first death. No body or nothing.

Is Marcello broken? Is there a certain way to do the honors line that I don't know?
