I'm using pole spinslash, but I'm using more than just aconite/curare. I'm putting in more venoms than that, but you shield/run when I start using the other ones. So I start from the top and continue from there. The process repeats and the result is you only seeing yourself constantly paralysed/stupid because those are the first two you get hit with. Secondly, you weren't getting killed like that BEFORE I updated my parrying, so it's a two part fold to it. You can't gain much ground on me offensively and the result is, your soul is getting drained until you're damage killed because your class is too squishy. Very similar to what I do with my indo offense. I fling moon at you UNTIL you have all the moon affs I want to give you, then I start flinging the other cards. I get really annoyed when people say all you do is use this, when THAT is the logical thing for my system to do when you have x/y/z. 

What can you do to prevent this? Use better howls. Your class is a salve based one, and you're not using ANY salve based howls or bays. Instead you're left trying to dominate a system that's set up to prevent you from getting mangles/destroys with a half hearted attempt. Your howls are picked up instantly by the most basic hidden catchers. The better howls I'm talking about WILL ALSO lower my damage output by flat out making me miss attacks, which slows down my class and saves you on soul points. I still don't know how you lost since you had a good 15ish seconds head start on me before I realized I was being attacked. Then switched out of Dota to kill you.

My rage, Dota 2. You could be a 6/1 Outworld Destroyer cross ganking, just dominating the field, getting double kills by yourself. Then switch out to fight someone in aetolia, come back to being killed once, so now you died 2 times. Look at the score, 26/9. Damn you aetolian gankers. Making me lose my dota 2. Though in all honestly, before I tabbed out it was like 12/9, so our lanes were already feeding. Aetolia just made it SOOOO much harder. I'm not going to argue with you as you're basically arguing about stuff you don't really understand. I used both howls that should stop your offense: Paralysis/Disturbing. Your damage is what is causing you to kill me and nothing else as it is my understanding that you recently purchased a Level 2 weapon rune according to Moirean. Your damage was comparable to hers previously and she is unartifacted. However, you've now begun to start hitting with 1.2k SSL's that goes up with time. You used nothing but aconite and curare for a majority of the fight compared to other classes which are required to employ sensitivity to go for a damage kill (you didn't and your damage would've been higher if you had done so).  Secondly, there are no "salve-based" howls save anorexia and I'm not a salve pressure offense. I cannot stick the anorexia in order to truly pressure your salve balance. That's not really the problem nor the focus of what's going on right now.

You're welcome to put logs in the thread that I've created as I have no intention of derailing this one further. However, given that Luna (a liaison that extensively uses Carnifex) has agreed that the two-venom set up is about all the class has right now, it's less about what you're doing and more about the damage that you're able to produce with minimal effort on your end.

tl;dr version: You're doing too much damage with absolutely no build-up save using aconite and curare. You basically haven't even touched the other afflictions. If you want to pursue a damage offense, I'm fine with that but you should be sticking sensitivity or build-up conditions like every other balanced class is subjected to.

Daskalos hits me with a bow for 2k damage a pop (and I'm your super duper OP Praenomen). He can also legitimately autobash me to death quite easily.

But that's okay, because he's dropped thousands on artis and I haven't! IRE is still a money machine after all and these things have to give an advantage. I dunno what artis you have Seir but it doesn't seem that unreasonable for Ilyon with +3 str and level 3 weapon rune or Xiuhcoatl with level 3 weapon rune and whatever else he has to be able to overwhelm 5.2k HP just through damage.

Yeah ideally you don't want anyone to be able to just simply eat through someone with pure damage but that's what artifacts do. And I highly doubt you're going to see artifacts get nerfed.

EDIT: Not that this is a commentary on Carnifex or BB or anything like that. But I am sure Ilyon/Xiuhcoatl would be able to do the same thing on Monk or Lycan or really anything with their artis.

Magic_potence got nerfed, balance_recovery got nerfed. Damage scaling formulas could get modified which would be indirect 'nerfs'. I don't doubt that it's plausible artifacts can get nerfed.
