Ohgod. YES. And 'Sergeant' Ffff. I always want to say Seargent. >.>
ETA: It doesn't help that I never connected colonel with the spoken word until I was like 13 or so--because I'd only ever HEARD it in 101 Dalmations as a kidlet--every other occurance I'd only read it. So I thought it was pronounced 'call-uh-nuhl' until it got mentioned while we were reading aloud from the history book in a history class. >.>
Yep. Frankly, I think that's a good thing. Gives an excuse to be very selective in approvers and generally improves consistency in policy. However, without really consistent and involved immortal supervision, the system can develop into an exclusive clique of sorts, wherein craft approvers enforce their own policies to keep things "purer" than the official admin positions.
tl;dr Crafters are hella weird sometimes.
Can the queues get sped up though? Like, two to three weeks for something to get rejected and need to wait another two to three weeks is pretty harsh .
That's not the same queue. Us mortals have no control in the divine queue. I'll admit, I've submitted stuff for divine approval and so much time has passed that I forgot I even put the artifact customization up.
Man....the -divine- queue is another story. 8 times out of 10 I have to go to Raz directly to get my shit approved because you can't comment on things and they seem to be rejected arbitrarily for things that are fine for the mortal queue.
Like.
Had a kitten get rejected because I used the word cute as a descriptor.
ETA: In total fairness, the divine volunteers have a lot of things on their plate, so I totally understand the time elapsing while one waits for things. But things like the above are silly, unnecessary, and arbitrarily outside of what is acceptable in crafting.
I am getting sick and tired of seeing certain people complain about something an org is or isn't doing (blaming the leadership specifically) on the forums while making absolutely no effort in game to help. At all. Those are the sorts of things that make players wonder why they're even bothering trying to help the org in the first place and consequently, even less likely to put in larger efforts knowing that they might not ever be recognized or appreciated.
As someone who has been accused of that once before, I will just say that it is easy to feel like you're in a position where nothing you do is going to be supported by the leadership. And when you can't -touch- the leadership, eh. What do you do? Continue to be unhappy?
Granted, I never came here to rage about things. I just waved the deuces and rolled out, but I can see people being unwilling to make that change.
I would also point out that I sort of went through a stage where I tried approaching every active guild member who was GR 3 and up to see if they wanted to step into some sort of leadership role, and continued asking people during guild interviews if they would consider guild position x, y or z based on their interests or strengths. We're looking at a guild where all you have to do to get involved is pass your interviews and then ask.
Long tiresome quests that end with little to no reward, or an obscure perhaps unfinished ending, just leaves me unsatisfied and wanting.
Second quest like this i've done so far that just ends with no real purpose or understanding, even after I had to gather 5 ingredients from different areas...one of which would decay very quickly if I didnt reach him in time.
I Rage at the amount of bugs I find a week to get told its not a bug but then still run into the same 'bug' ... IS IT OR ISNT IT A BUG
~:>
I'm honestly not sure what this means.
@Oleis I kind of find bugs but I ask other people first so I dont spam the bug system with pointless things and I get told its not a bug but it keeps happening Not a dig at admin but the people who tell me its not a bug when if it keeps happening I would have thought it was one

I see! Feel free to murder them!
(.. in-character)
No matter what anyone says, if you think it is a bug... bug it. worst that will happen is Oleis telling you it is not a real bug and maybe a zap or two.

Sad.
