If I had to guess, Bene voltda'd out, then went back in before the 'you broke the mindlock' thing went off. Sort of like if you walk out of a room then back in between the 2nd and 3rd line of behead or whatever.

(Web): Bryn says, "Toz is why we can't have nice things."
Kali, keeper of the pit says, "Ladies and gentlemen! We have a brave soul here, we do! Well, off with you, Moirean. Last long enough against the spider, and you will receive a hefty prize! Defeat it, and you'll bend under the weight of the gold you'll receive."
Kali grabs you by your arm and drags you towards a nearly invisible trap door. Flinging it open, he pushes you into the dark depths. For what seems like eternity you slide down a muck-covered tunnel, landing at last with a thump in the web-filled cavern of the feared Spider.
The Spider Pit.
A ringing cacophony fills the air, centered on a filigree obsidian stand and the fluted basin captured within its clawed arms. Towering at well over fifteen feet, the gargantuan spider is a creature from a horrid nightmare. A massive sandstorm threatens to choke out the life in this area. Dim motes of light cascade around the untapped focal point here, wavering in and out of reality with each resonance of the leyline.
Today is my day for self-ownage. I lent my bashing artis to Tsvanni earlier and articalled them back for a lesser. Not only did I not realize that killed my stability defense (getting me pulled into a group of enemies), I also did this...

Shrug, Citadel keeps parrying for me, and it has horrid parrying which overrides my own. Trying to figure out how to make it stay disabled, but it keeps turning back on. And my fire alarm went off, that's why I left.
1. Learned how to code up your own system and do it yourself.
2. Use one of the many free system that are available to the Aetolian community.
3. Realize that artifacts had nothing to do with me winning either of those fights, save for preventing Conner from autobashing me to death.
4. Realize that the reference I was making was to prove your repeated statements of "Monks are completely useless outside of being a support class." wrong.
5. Actually bother reading the logs to learn about how to fight as a monk on your level, and learn some tricks of your own.
6. Become Illidan.
But, if you want to be a negative nancy, you can go right ahead. Your repeated and completely ignorant statements about how useless monks are have been proven to be completely wrong.
"And finally, swear to Me: You will give your life to Dendara for you are Tiarna an-Kiar."
@Sarkis I have the same system as Illidan and I'm probably more artied out than he is tbh. He still beats me as a Monk.
To be completely frank, I have never seen you fight. If you give up before you even start obviously you are not going to get anywhere and I don't see how you can form anything even close to an informed opinion if you don't actually fight at all.
Mm, tonguelash is supposed to be 400-500 damage, Angwe was getting hit for almost 800. I was able to replicate that damage once on Rammus but the next 20 or so did the normal damage. No idea what causes it.
Also Angwe took the same damage from the ghast from both a direct hit and a divert. Weird.

My guess is that weapon stats are to blame and audits need a very, very comprehensive looking at as they're very uneven and some don't make sense. (e.g. when a class wearing fullplate is taking upwards of 1.5k from a scythe slash or an unarmored class having a competitive audit with highly armored classes.)
The weapons were fine. 1200 from my slashes and 800 from Rammus, hardly anything overbearing. It's the tonguelash and ghast hits that did way more damage than they were supposed to. I don't get what weapon stats have to do with anything. The log doesn't even show a single scythe slash connecting.
You know, just because a class is unarmored doesn't suddenly mean their audit should be worse than a class WITH armor.
For example. If Aetolia decided to release a class that ended up being a version of the Incredible Hulk or The Thing, would you be surprised that they were incredibly tanky? No. They don't have armor, yet, they'd be expected to have really high resistances.
A class being unarmored doesn't always mean that they SHOULD have low audits. Just saying.

It doesn't make any sense that an unarmored class is achieving higher physical audits than a class wearing fullplate. I don't even have to justify that logic.
