Anyone remember rogues? Instead of having tons of new guilds I think it would might have been cool to institutionalise rogues with new flavor texts or something. I remember reading something about changing the mirror classes' utility skills but it doesn't appear that such a thing happened, which arguably defeats the point of having more institutions.

@Tetchta can't really talk about the issues without talking about historical issues that have gotten us to this point.
And I have been pretty clear, everyone is messy here, even me taking the time to try and address anything here is messy.

Comparing what appears to be valid roleplay to accusations of metagaming and running organizations through discord servers just feels like comparing apples and cinderblocks to me. I don't think this is a productive way to frame this conversation, especially since there's glossing over tangible examples given in this thread. This feels like a derail to me because the only other thing I feel like I can say is just a repeat of stuff I already wrote to get us back on track.

Ignoring the fact that that was all said on a discord server that includes nearly all of shadow side, but strangely not yourself, your taking of a string of quotes out of what was a long conversation is just proof positive to me that you have no interest in being anything other than a contrarian for the sake of it.

I haven't played in ages and mainly just lurk forums occasionally, but it seems like there's been multiple threads like this(like the Teradrim one) that keep getting started by or primarily populated by the same people. I don't blame anyone for not wanting to comment in here, because Kurak and Iazamat and Bulrok and others seem to be positively seething for their opportunity to dole out public justice. If there is a problem on this level, I think it should be taken to admins, not litigated on forums. These threads always get nasty as hell and seem more to sway/consolidate public opinion.

EDIT: Also I have two questions:

How can an alt army sway a sudden contestation? Vote weight exists and takes RL weeks to accrue.

Why does the sudden promotion have to be OOC, and not IC favoritism, which is allowed?
