Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. I've lost count of how many hours I've spent just messing around and not doing the story missions. Naval battles are so fun. >w<
After being recently diagnosed with Crohn's Disease I have had to make some serious adjustments in my life, one of those was moving 1300 miles away to begin a healthier lifestyle both physically and mentally.
I am now back in Portland Oregon with a stupid grin on my face every morning, eating super healthy and jogging again.
I also rekindled my love for playing the piano, and thrifting.
...really all I am missing is a moustache
That being said, I am absolutely happy for the first time in a long time....so with that note I want to wish everyone a wonderful weekend, and I want everyone to know that if you want to see change, become the change you wish to see. There are awesome people in this community who will listen and care. To those of you who have even taken little time to just ask me if everything is okay or hear me vent some nights, I wont list you all, but thank you for being awesome!
I love the quick and patient help/support I got with some questions for the web client. Thank you so much for enduring my noobishness, Matt and Garryn, should you see this!
I just had my first interview of three months. Afterward the lady gushed about how lucky she is to find someone with my experience level/customer service skills. She says she's going to make sure I get a second interview after her boss comes back from surgery in a week or so. Even if I don't get the job, I feel like my energy has been somewhat renewed. We're looking forward to having some financial wiggle room.
Speaking of financial wiggle room, I contacted the debate program at my college and asked if I could do my work study with them. They agreed! Either way, I'm going to be having some kind of source of income in the next couple weeks.

The new planting system! Excited to play around with this and see what other sort of additions it'll....sprout. Ahaha. But no, seriously, I can see a lot of....growth potential here. It's a really fertile idea. Additional stuff like house additions and artifacts and even wide-spread city-level mechanics could crop up as well.
I love that I'm going to go see RBF and FIF tonight! I've been feeling pretty crappy over the last week, so hoping this will help lift my spirits a little.
The paradox of our time in history is
that we have taller buildings but shorter tempers, wider Freeways, but
narrower viewpoints. We spend more, but have less, we buy more, but
enjoy less. We have bigger houses and smaller families, more
conveniences, but less time. We have more degrees but less sense, more
knowledge, but less judgment, more experts, yet more problems, more
medicine, but less wellness.
We drink too much, smoke too
much, spend too recklessly, laugh too little, drive too fast, get too
angry, stay up too late, get up too tired, read too little, watch TV too
much, and pray too seldom.
We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values. We talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often.
We've learned how to make a living, but not a life. We've added years
to life not life to years. We've been all the way to the moon and back,
but have trouble crossing the street to meet a new neighbor. We
conquered outer space but not inner space. We've done larger things, but
not better things.
We've cleaned up the air, but polluted the
soul. We've conquered the atom, but not our prejudice. We write more,
but learn less. We plan more, but accomplish less. We've learned to
rush, but not to wait. We build more computers to hold more information,
to produce more copies than ever, but we communicate less and less.
These are the times of fast foods and slow digestion, big men and small
character, steep profits and shallow relationships. These are the days
of two incomes but more divorce, fancier houses, but broken homes. These
are days of quick trips, disposable diapers, throwaway morality, one
night stands, overweight bodies, and pills that do everything from
cheer, to quiet, to kill. It is a time when there is much in the
showroom window and nothing in the stockroom. A time when technology can
bring this letter to you, and a time when you can choose either to
share this insight, or to just hit delete.
Remember to spend some time with your loved ones, because they are not going to be around forever.
Remember, say a kind word to someone who looks up to you in awe,
because that little person soon will grow up and leave your side.
Remember, to give a warm hug to the one next to you, because that is
the only treasure you can give with your heart and it doesn't cost a
cent.
Remember, to say, 'I love you' to your partner and your
loved ones, but most of all mean it. A kiss and an embrace will mend
hurt when it comes from deep inside of you.
Remember to hold hands and cherish the moment for someday that person will not be there again.
Give time to love, give time to speak! And give time to share the precious thoughts in your mind.
And always remember, life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by those moments that take our breath away.

Life has looked up and now I have my Walmart credit card paid off, my bill me later account paid off, and my loan paid off, with enough for some savings. I feel good about this

I have one more week of unemployment before my job starts and I can start paying bills on -time- again.
I'm starting to see/feel results of my renewed fitness habits.
Never mind.

Looks like we're done here. Everyone can go home. Now.
