I love Audrey Hepburn.  I especially love her in the movie 'Funny Face' which features Astaire, who I also love.  The movie does a hilarious job of skewering continental philosophers, so much so that I have a feeling that someone with a background in analytic philosophy just had to be involved in it.  Also, Fred Astaire is amazing, as he always was, and I love watching new people discovering his works, his talent, and the amazing art that he managed to make.  I wish the things he'd done on stage survived to this day too.

Love that the longest night of my life is over and that my cat is going to be ok! YEAH! Talked to the vet this morning and she took well to the antibiotics that they gave her and the swelling stayed in her paw. It didn't spread which is what typically happens with her type of injury, apparently. So that's a good sign. She hasn't eaten anything yet but that's probably because they have one of those things on her to prevent her from taking off the bandage from her paw. But they said she's awake, very alert and demanding to be petted! Hehe, that's normal behavior for her. So, they're going to keep her a few more hours just to be on the safe side and then they're going to transfer her to our regular vet. THEN WE GET TO TAKE HER HOME!

Edit: Update from her normal vet- he thinks it was a spider bite and not a snake bite. She could still lose her toe to the infection and we'll have to keep her on anti-biotics all week & keep on eye on her paw. But at least she gets to come home! So excited to see her!
