I can't stop being so excited for this release, but the early copies getting leaked by retailers is just too good with so many little tidbits about the weapons and environments.
I admit I don't know a lot about the games that are up right now, and with it only being the first week, I can't vouch for what is to come, but I support the humble Bundle because heck, I can get a bunch of pretty decent, if not good games (If they aren't good, then they at least have some pretty darn interesting mechanics to look at) for fairly decent pricing, especially when you consider that the list pretty much gives you 8 games, and their soundtracks, for the "average" donation price (usually around 5 bucks.) with usually 1-2 "premium" games for 10 bucks on top of all the games, and the money is split between the developers, a charity, with the website taking a 2% cut just for server costs. Heck, this bundle in particular is supporting the American Red Cross, as well as the Electronic Frontier Foundation, at least one of the two being a recognizeable foundation that, while admittedly it probably drops the ball occasionally when trying to help, actually does get SOMETHING done for the people it helps. (Yes, I'm acknowledging that the ARC dropped the ball with Katrina, but everyone seemed to have dropped the ball on that one I think), and if you don't wanna support either of those charities? You CAN decide how the money is split, with majority going to one charity or the other, or to the developers so they can keep making games, or to the website itself to keep it running for a good long while.
So I bought FF Type-0 so I could get the FFXV demo, while the pain of not being able to play the entire game is real, the demo was simply amazing. This game is going to be unreal when it drops.
Cannot handle how good this game is. The atmosphere is off the goddamn charts and the consummate gothic horror/Lovecraftian waking nightmare theme just goes to places I did not expect. I've got so many screenshots from when I got to play on Tuesday, but work is just killing me this week already and I haven't gotten much farther. Uggggh, so goooood.
Dark Souls 2 got a revamp and put up on the Xbox One, pretty stoked. More and more of the games I have been neglecting to get on my 360 are coming to the One, life is good.
I must ask, since I've been gushing over it in various ooc clans and in person to other people lately...who else is excited for Mortal Kombat X?
I haven't played a Mortal Kombat in some time, but this one is looking extremely solid.

Yeah some of those are completely over the top. Feels like they went out of their way to make it gory. And it's kinda repetitive. 90% of the fatalities involve your chest being ripped open.
"You ever been divided by zero?" Nia asks you with a squint.

If not that, your skull is split in half.

So my roommate and I are going to start working on a video game this year using unreals engine. I'm putting about 1500$ into a new pc to handle this, and I discovered all nvidia 970's come with witcher 3.... I just bought it today
Picked up 'Alpha Protocol' and 'Remember Me' super cheaply on steam. I really like both but have been sinking in some serious hours into Alpha Protocol. The timed dialog stuff is awesome, and I'm really enjoying the limitations on leveling your character (generalist vs specialist, stealth vs combat vs tech, weapon specialties, ect...) and I really like that some levels are just flat out easier for stealth build, combat builds, or tech builds.

Laughed too damn hard.
Such an inspiring and amazing man.
Traps in RPGs: so devious, so delightful. Especially when the person you summoned takes one to the face.
