@Aeryx - What is keeping you from having the wedding? Just host it! Shit/events happen without accounting for what we have schedule, like Galilei's Tanix festival, or Roux's Waterfyre and there's really no helping it. Also, taking a break from the war is allowed! Not every war has to be fought or fully engaged with 24/7.

We are still going to do it, I wasn't complaining about it. I'm okay with how it's going to go down, as I said in my post I more care about how it's not going to be all that it could be otherwise, with all the preparation other people have put in. I understand this is how these things go, but it doesn't make it to where I'm not still a little sad about it.

I am also completely in agreement with your last statement. This is a game, noone is obliged to stay logged in for 13-16 hours a day like some of us do. I am not mad about the outcome of the event, I'm not even mad about how it's going to affect our wedding event tomorrow. What I am annoyed about is this general mentality people have on this game of 'Oh man, this person is so wrong, their opinion is so bad, I'm gonna go ridicule them and dogpile them with 8 of my other friends for it'. It's gross and dumb and childish, and shows the absolute lack of moderation on these forums.

Same people complaining about 'tribalism' are the ones acting with their 8 friends to dogpile someone on an internet forum and say how their posts are worthy of ridicule.

You love to see it. Keep on being classy, Aetolia forums. I'm sure you'll get more than 10-15 regular users again out of the 100+ people logged into the game again some day.

Edit: I am noticing a lot of laughs or disagree from Shadow players. I am trying very hard not to make this an us vs them so if you could explain why you disagree? And please keep in mind, you lot have a goal to achieve and a way to do it. All we can do is fortify troops. We don't have a win condition except "Well maybe if we win enough fights they will give up"

Because you're making a lot of assumptions and are seemingly refusing to acknowledge that stopping us from doing the mechanic that we've been handed is easier than actually doing the mechanic, which requires us to split up to do in any timely manner (AFTER DEMOLISHING ALL FORTIFIED TROOPS IN THE AREA), in addition to it requiring UP TO 30 seconds of balance to complete our mechanic. Ample opportunity for roving, skirmishing gank squads. Further, as has been stated, we don't actually know our win condition. We don't know when this ends. We don't know what the next stage is. Nothing. Griping about not having a win mechanic when all you have to do is stop us - something both tethers have experienced across numerous events in the past - is frankly worthy of ridicule, especially given recent events.

The constant finger pointing to avoid accountability is exhausting. It's an ongoing problem in Aetolia and so many of you would have much better play experiences if you finally realized that people are reacting to your RP and not you as players, and that your RP (or lack thereof!) is usually the catalyst for the consequences you suffer, not a result of others being bullies bent on driving people out of the game.

As for this diversity you represent, I rather resent that remark because you don't represent anyone but yourself - and no one has certainly asked you to represent anything more than yourself. Aetolia is incredibly diverse if you actually get to know people, but pretending to speak for them is entirely presumptuous and off-base.
