So I have concerns, this is anonymous right, what is to say afterwards someone does not say some random person sexually assaulted them in this place? Which would start spreading rumors and cause backlash in the community, there is already a lot of drama happening in game. Just because it is anonymous does not mean people that have a vendetta against someone will not use it for their own devious purposes. Or since it is anonymous what if someone takes advantage of another player in there and does commit sexual assault, rping to their own vices despite protests from the other party. I do not know, this does not sound like a very good mechanic and I think it should be rethought through. It just seems like a great way to slander someone's good name.

There is a difference between letters and sexual harassment. One is minor, the other is major.Aetolians sometimes have an IC/OOC separation problem that makes them take things like this OOC, I agree, but the problem is with how the community handles things like intrigue and inter-org strife, not with the strife itself. Most of all the things people are concerned with can already happen in game anyway. Syssin can literally forge letters, with very few ways to ever find out who actually sent it. People lie all the time about other people. It's fine. This is fine. We're fine. It's fine.
That does not sound like good rp and good conflict. These are real concerns and if someone goes through with their agenda and begins to slander someone that it causes rifts in game it can cause some serious consequences, you can seriously harm someone's reputation this way in and out of game.

You wanted specific examples. I tried keeping it nameless but you basically pushed for more info. So you got it.
And I see where you are coming from with that argument and there is logic there. But when you have a system ripe for abuse, to call it voluntary and then say those who choose not to partake can get awesome rp from the abuse of the system is not the same. That's my opinion anyways.

In preparation for the next Classleads, here are some changes you'll want to keep in mind!
1 report per person. This is going to cause salt, I know. But being as this is the first round I'm holding, I want only what people really care about to be what gets attention. I realize some of you will ask a friend to submit for you, but that's your friend's decision, and maybe it'll encourage us all to make more friends.
I'll be making them Anonymous. People letting their personal disagreements bleed into Classleads frustrates me to no end.
After this round we'll readdress the frequency of classleads, as I'll better know what I can handle. We'll also be considering increasing report quantity for people with a history of valuable reports/comments.
Onward to the forums thread!

I'll start off with an apology at least on my side of things if any subterfuge was felt to be happening. @Elene our characters spoke and you kindly sent me your outline, which was of help and also we were going to accredit you for. We shared a similar view in character, as to how the fest should go. Before that @Ayukazi and I had been speaking for a while and as she said, verbal plans were in the making. While the fete has expanded to include ideas from others, and has been shortened and modified, some of the core ideas are those you put forth. I think it's important for all of us to remember that it isn't just one person that is making this possible but all of us together. @Ayukazi has been a big help in posting and taking initiative to help with things especially since I haven't been able to be in game much recently (my grandfather passed unexpectedly). In no way was she being nefarious as insinuated. I don't tend to get involved on the forums much because, well, that's probably obvious, but I felt it important to offer my view. What the city needs right now is for all of us to come together, not be driven further apart.
Re: Endgame Bashing
I'm ok with timers actively running. Maintains the huge lack of consequence effect that Aetolia has as a whole. If you just popped a mint/caramel/hazelnut, you're less likely to want to get involved into drama/rp situations because you want to maximize your buffs. However, at the same token, if something does happen you have to balance the worth of going to that event and miss out on time for your chocolates.
You have no idea how many times I've been on mint/caramel and had to stop 2-3 hours after eating them to handle something IG that lasted another 2-4 hours... usually some drama or global RP event. I made the decision to attend, as such, it's my consequence to miss out on buff timers.

So I marked disagree and I will explain why.
Re: Chocolates
Borminchia already showed that you make COMBINE chocolates to keep chocolates longer. This is further perpetuated by the fact that you can get chocolates through multiple avenues: market, milestones, chocolate bags, and promos. Chocolates are not hurting in any capacity to acquire and are sold quite often.
That said, if you made chocolates non-decayable, then you've effectively made a relic item completely pointless. If you make the the mesh bag relic into an easily purchased artifact, you're effectively going to reduce the income of the game. That's a big no no. This might be a game we play, but Aetolia still has to make money and even if you made it into a readily accessible artifact, it will be a niche artifact that only a few people buy and then trade-in when they no longer need it. So why would Aetolia think "Let's make it a $20 item (200 credits) and they immediately have it." When the reality is "Let's make everyone spend $70+ in the chance to get these mesh bag pieces that other people will then purchase $30+ of credits to purchase from other people." Yeah, it's a game, but it's a business too. So I do not see that happening.

This has been brought up many, many times over the years. Some of the players like it, some of the players don't. The criticism is pretty similar in one regard. If you make every bashable area instanced, you might as well be playing a single-player game. If I wanted to play a single player game, I'd go play Cyberpunk, Assassin's Creed, Elex, Dark Souls, or some other type of game. The same argument was brought up when people complained about the herbs constantly being picked out. All they did was modify how quick herbs regrew. Areas in Aetolia have anywhere from a 10 minute respawn to 2 hour respawn. Hell, one area in particular actually -allows- you to reset it at the price of 25K: Shattered Vortex. You can get some decent xp here, even if all you do is bash one side and it becomes a gold sink too... which a lot of people have complained about there being a lackthereof.
ULTIMATELY...
People who attempt the Mt. Everest climb to 200 eventually realize how time intensive it is, how expensive it is, and how exhausting it is. Ayukazi did it and she kinda doesn't like bashing much anymore. Mazz did it and he never EVER wants to bash again. Bormi's probably gonna do it and then she'll likely never bash again. Jhin did it and he pretty much quit afterward. It's a slog. Because when you do it, it's either an all or none type of thing. It affects what you do in game, it becomes a game of numbers, and then you get so concerned with losing xp (because you just spent all these hours bashing to get this progress) that it affects what you do even more!
Short of new areas being implemented, which Borminchia pointed out is very resource and time intensive on an admin level, you really just have to try to outsmart the people who are bashing and get the the area first.
