Amen to that, if someone completes a truelock the victory should be theirs, heh. It's not exactly an easy thing to accomplish.

It's possible that what you're saying actually could be coded as a solution.  When someone is truelocked, it mechanically disables all passive curing on them, including the necklace of purity.  It doesn't solve the problem of passive curing entirely of course, but it does at least make the problem a little less severe.
