I'm trying to get set up so I have a bunch of farms to farm tatos and the like to then sell and get shipments of raw materials to craft for exp. Rinse and repeat. And get an awesome fortress-esque settlement times as many settlements as I have. Because I want to be awesome.
It is time consuming to get to that point, plus I keep getting sucked into damn side quests. I'm just minding my own business then BAM! "Hey mister, go save my cat." Efffff.... Here kitty kitty kitty... then BAM! "Hey mister, this kid is dying. You should go save him by finding the cure." Say what? "Hey mister, this guy is sleeping with my wife." So? "Hey mister, I'm sleeping with that guy's wife. But on an unrelated note, I have this little thing on the side..." Solve your own damn problems. Except I can't say that, because Piper wouldn't like it. But, I finally got max affinity with Piper this morning, so screw what she thinks. Time to start being a mean bastard. Oh, I'm sorry, did you lose your kitty? Here are its bones, it made a delicious meal.
No clue how it's going to work out. Probably horribly. But I want to be a wasteland God running around with a Bowie knife stabbing folks. Just saying. Who needs Power Armor when you're me. Thus far, messing up people who are jerks has been immensely satisfying.
Bloodborne: The Old Hunters is out and I'm sick as hell. So of course I started a new character to get my legs back and am so rusty it hurts. How am I going to even do this new content when I can't even find my way around Yharnam.
lv 44 unarmed specialist in Fallout 4. I just run up and falcon paunch people in the face ^^ nothing is more wacky then watching deathclaws go FLYING from your fist. Now I just found out the next step in the story and the brotherhood of steel begin flying in. UGH! Decisions devisions decisions. I have loved the ballistic benefits given by the railroad but man I know if i go BoS Its all guns and roses with them. I don't know if I actually WANT to finish the story yet and milk it for unlocking melee weps OR focus on obtaining max stats....too many decisions, banking crits + stealth bonuses makes even giants go squish with a deathclaw gauntlet in their faces. Depending on your own personal styles, I am really enjoying a walking tank with 0 focus on gun play, however I do sometimes use a nice pistol in someone's face. I really wish sometimes i could akimbo wield pistols.
Stealth, High Powered Rifles, Lasers, Silenced Pistols, and Brainiac level intelligence.
I can't punch a deathclaw in the face.. but I am more than able to lay 15 frag mines and lure the thing into it with a single shot. DEATHCLAW SPLOSION.
Played through the Telltales game of thrones season 1. Wow. I've never been pushed to the limit so drastically. Not to act on impulse, not to redeem pride or seek revenge, and to quell my ego all in favor of winning the war not the battle. I read a few negative comments about how a few outcomes don't change regardless of decisions, but I've settled on this: sometimes it doesn't matter what road you take, they all end up to a place you don't want to be.
Year's coming to an end and here's my list of favorite games of 2015 (in no particular order):
Not sure if Darkest Dungeon counts as it's still in Early Access and not out till January, but what a great game all the same. Hope you guys had a lot of fun this year too. WHAT A TIME TO BE ALIVE.
Sunless Sea was amazing (alternately haunting and hilarious). Their other game, Fallen London, has equally good writing, though the browser format and limited actions takes some getting used to.
Playing Witcher 3 right now and trying to get into combat. I'm not enjoying the fighting so far but I'm trying to remain optimistic. Maybe I've not spent enough time figuring it out or maybe it's clunky with a mouse and keyboard.
Speaking of mouse and keyboard; the game feels ported. The menus are a bit frustrating to go through with a mouse and keyboard. It's been enough for me not to get immersed in the world.
The most rewarding things so far are free world exploration (the game is massive and everything is beautiful), checking out city architecture, and spending hours playing gwent and accumulating cards for it.

Combat is definitely not the Witcher's strongest suite, but I got more into it after the debacle of 1 and 2's being an utter slog for me even though I liked the games. I'm super into Witcher 3 solely because of the direction with the story, music, art, and whatnot. ALSO GWENT.
I was actually ok with it in 1, I can't remember being too excited about it in 2 but it wasn't offputting. I'm just really trying to get into 3 and I'm failing
I've also had a hard time with the new fallout. I don't believe Bethesda is as good at story telling as obsidian. New Vegas had a richer culture, a darker feel, great dialogue and good rewards for exploration of both areas and text. Bethesda did do an excellent job with weapon customization, world building, the settlement idea, and making combat more engaging and challenging. That said, I've poured hours into it (mostly settlement building) and had a fair bit of fun. I just miss the feeling of finally making it to Vegas and being awed by this relatively untouched city full of interesting mini games, dialogue options, and fun sidequest arcs that could keep you busy for 10-20 hours easily
This is completely random but it literally only just occurred to me - didn't there use to be an emote that did something like "HUMANS SO CUTE" or something? I remember Cariv and I were just going through the list for fun, and we came across that and wondered if it was a weird bug.
Only now does it register (after I played the game) that it was probably an Undertale/Temmie reference. Seems like it got removed, but that's kind of awesome/hilarious if it was the case.

We certainly have a 'hOI!!!!!! i'm tEMMIE!!' emote floating around in the Pools.

If they answer is YES, then your statement MAY be valid. Otherwise, there simply is such a low probability that we will round to 0.

Not even done with Fallout 4, and Just Cause 3 sneaks up on me?
But I have work I'm supposed to be doing!

One of my favorite games coming out of Early Access. Hail to Vlambeer!
sooo good

Thank you JoJo's for being fabulous since the 80s.
Especially Dio.

Still one of my all-time favorite video game openings/intros. Very beautiful narration from Linda Hunt and overall animation.
Goddamn, talk about sublime
Definitely one of the best games I've ever played.
