    The problem with playing a game and really only caring about getting your kicks right now however you want to get them, and screw anybody that it might affect means people will, after a time anyway, sort of stop giving a damn about the 'woe is me' you always come up with.

    Hate to say it, but it's true. You're such a talented RPer, and I feel like you'd just be a lot of fun, but you won't change. You're a self admitted troll, and I've heard you call yourself a bitch so many times as if it were a badge. You embrace those things when they benefit you, but the minute someone -else- calls you on it, Holy shit. Cancel Christmas, kids. The lid just got flipped. Or you go to the pity me routine and bomb forums with how people are trying to make your experience terrible.

    I hate that you'll take this personally instead of as something constructive, but ah well. I'm tired and I've had entirely too little sleep this week.

    I rage about allergies.

    I had a great day golfing today, but because it was windy, it was like, "Lets fuck you up because its windy." ARGH! FUCK ALLERGIES!

    Edit: Second rage: Why the hell would I have to pay a fee to get unenemied to Moghedu? Its not my fault I'm enemied in the first damn place. I was instantly enemied the moment I walked into it! This is probably an idiotic ending to that Nesventesh event. Great fucking job! Getting inks is now that much harder!

    Playing Aetolia is insanely frustrating to do while quitting smoking. There are so many habitual moments I've developed with my gameplay that are now just triggers to want a smoke: going through death-sequence, roleplaying, writing a room description, dealing with a frustrating org member...

    I had actually quit for about 6 months, in the past, but when I started playing MUDs again the smoking started again. I guess it's good that I'm quitting while also going through the gameplay habits that I've trained myself to associate with smoking.

    Words that you should goddamn stop using as a substitute for "eyes" in descriptions:

    Orbs
    Facets
    Oculars
    Globes

    I will append this list as I see more things that are horrifyingly dumb. They're called EYES, for fuck's sake. Put the thesaurus down and step away slowly before someone gets hurt.

    I disagree, @elie. But mostly because Rashar's eyes are about the only prominent aspect of his physical appearance (aside from maybe the wings, now) and are mentioned in two sentences. I am not a fan of repeating the same word multiple times in a row.

    Although, now that I check, I did manage to only use 'eyes' and nothing else in the current iteration. It changes, from time to time and as I get bored.

    Seriously, guys. Stephen King has written 1000+ page novels without using the kind of purple prose you put into your descriptions. Simplify, simplify. You don't need to beat someone to death with synonyms, and if you find yourself saying "eyes" six times in your description, maybe some of that detail is better mentioned in RP when it comes into play. I'm not diving into an endless pool of stars and madness every time I look at your godly orbs, dude. Your description shouldn't be doing all your roleplaying for you, and your eyes certainly shouldn't either.
