Also, curious about which character Mel is seen as. Originally, I modeled her after Azusa Nakano from K-ON. No, really. I think a good bit of that has stuck around, actually, but she's definitely her own person.

The Devil is a Part-timer? Heard of it, haven't seen it. Hm... My personal all-time favorites are Rurouni Kenshin and .hack//SIGN. The former really suffers from filler material, though. The manga's better. Rurouni Kenshin is set shortly after Perry visits Japan. Ten years into the Meiji Era. It centers around Kenshin Himura, a former assassin turned wandering swordsman. .hack//SIGN is set in a virtual reality game called The World. The protagonist is a wizard-type player named Tsukasa, and the story centers around his being unable to log out and the reasons behind it.

Ivoln is Gamagoori Ira from Kill la Kill. Gamagoori must fit the screen at anytime he is within the shot--this includes becoming so large that his upper torso is sticking out of the back of an army transportation vehicle or towering some twenty feet into the air due to the angle of the camera. It also involves him yelling wildly to maintain his dominance at anytime.



Also breaking down doors and squeezing into a room to instill fear into the students of Honnouji.

A possible second would be Gilgamesh from Fate/Zero. True king, curs, mongrels, etc, etc. Definitely not pretty enough to be Gilgamesh, though.
