    You have to use the remove hyperlink button. Otherwise the forum overrides the embed code in favor of the hyperlink one.

    Don't use the embed code. Simply c/p the URL from the browser into the body of the post and hit POST COMMENT. Forums does the rest!

    When I said embed, I meant the unseen code and not necessarily the embed code youtube offers.

    When you copy the link, sometimes the forum will convert the link from plaintext into a hyperlink text.


    ^ If you look at the source (the button with the paper symbol with <, > on it) you'll notice the forum doing that by tacking on <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PNDJPAAEuY0"> to your plain text. That's what is making it not embed properly and instead be a hyperlink.

    Two ways to remove this is to remove that portion of the code from the source every time you post (too much work imo). Second way is to highlight the link in your post and click that sideways looking paperclip with blue rays shooting out from it button (the 3rd from last button). That'll remove the hyperlink code automatically and ensure that the video is posted as plaintext so that it autoembeds itself.
