I don't have any memes But I will share my memory of hiding in Azdun 24/7 because the sun was very scary and being a Princenublet meant murder if I ventured out.
I remember spending hours during the Deepwater Alliance war sitting in the safe room bubbles that Slyphe had in his temple with a bunch of other people, because Ashtan gang would kill militia as soon as they stepped out during the off-hours.
Terrorizing the highways with Povox at midnight was fun. PKing with my old Tinyfugue system on the ancient computer my uncle gave me for my 16th birthday...
Murad being a thing. He once tried to mug me for my gold at NoT when I was a truenewbie.
The Crystal Leaf Inn (and subsequently, the Shooting Star Inn)'s infamy.
Convincing some poor newbie in Minia with illusions that I was a God and needed all their gold. Got a few thousand out of it. A few years later, I met the person I'd victimized in Lusternia, and they talked about how I'd been their nemesis for one whole week after I robbed them.
The Shadowsnakes/Syssin used to have a venom monopoly and charge absurd prices for just one vial of venom.
I remember making most of my credits through Bardics and I'm sad they're gone.
I made most of my credits as a newbie by selling promo codes out of coke bottle lids to Osifer! I used to go dig around in the giant recycling bin outside my apartment building or in the morning walking to work on recycling day. rofl.
Being genuinely flattered when someone made my character a page on the ankyrean archives, little me got noticed by someone else and they had insulting things to joke about! I was just over the moon!
Tormenting Epicurus with some other newbies I had met until he summoned Yudhi in Ashtan and consequently getting a lot of people killed. I still have the log.
Entering an enemy city meant instant death from invisible archers, with the exception of Bloodloch. At one point, being enemied to Duiran meant that any forest room would attack you.
During that point, there were a war between forest-y factions and Shoimoro's clan over Tasur'ke. They had exterminated forest rooms in the area (thus bypassing the Duiran enemy stuff) and then Shoimoro went AFK. I felt insanely proud of myself when I got someone to fix the room, which killed him.
And on my husband's behalf, his favorite character picture that someone drew for him:
Beating down people in a 3v3 with only a single trans skill (mine) on my side. That growing into a huge mess where I was, as a Bahkatu GR02, leading all of Duiran and telling everyone who joined our web the plan was 'right leg'. Probably the moment that hooked me, for better or worse.
@Suri being a quest NPC and sending me to get weasels for her to eat from Lodi, and giving me 5k each towards gear. That was still one of the coolest things ever.
I got listed as the Bahkatu patron on the Ankyrean Archives page too, and that went straight to my head.
And, because it was like 6 years ago+ now so holy crap it's an actual sort of throwback, Carnifixus.

ENORIAN NEWS #3286 Date: 4/26/2011 at 13:38 From: Daskalos Qefin To : Everyone Subj: The Bezaliel Exodus
All -
As Alterus is no longer a member of the ruling council, or even a citizen of Enorian, I would like to speak a little more openly about the situation between the Paladins and Enorian.
When Alterus approached me initially, he wanted me to help him punish a person who was out of his grasp, having left his guild, for a crime said person did not do. He had no proof, and it was little more than hearsay.
It was when I refused to punish said person further, that he took matters into his own hands and abused his abilities as a Herald of Enorian - abilities that are given to him to enforce the laws of Enorian, not the regulations of the Paladin guild.
When I told him no, Alterus then blackmailed the city, threatening to break every treaty with the city unless we let him do what he wants to do - his right, as he called it - and indeed breaking one treaty with the city.
He began spinning a tail of the city interfering with his guilds rights to other Paladins, in an attempt to gain support among his own people. Each Paladin who spoke to me, I answered every question they had.
There was a political way to do what Alterus wanted: Write a post, suggest it as a law, and let us vote.
He never did that. In fact, once he had been told no, he never spoke to me again. The other Bezaliels also refused to speak, most of them sitting around with the city channel ignored in their minds. One thing I've learned since returning is that the Bezaliels don't like being told no, and when you tell them no, they throw a fit like a five year old.
I am not a babysitter. If you want to help Enorian, I will gladly welcome your help. If you want to act like a child, then I'm going to treat you like a child.
However, with this change comes opportunity, especially for those of you that are younger. You will notice many new Ministers have been appointed recently, and they need aides. I'm going to look at aides before I look at regular citizens when jobs open up.
Step up for Enorian, and help your city out. Almost every Ministry could use the help. Hone your combat skills, Enorian, so that we can take back the Pash Valley and the villages outlying.
Be ready, Enorian, because much like children, I think the Bezaliels will be back. Only this time, it would not surprise me to see them wielding their weapons for the enemy. I hope I am wrong. Many of them are fine people when they want to be.
To the Paladins, Enorian stands ready to negotiate openly with your guild, as we have throughout this entire affair. I hope to meet whoever you elect as your guildmaster soon, so we can put this mess behind us.
You are an integral part of the city of Enorian.

@Kodaza I wonder if that is coincidence or not. The Indorani have been doing the thirteen pointed star on the forehead thing for ages and all of them but Kadvar were in that guild.
I remember when the Ascendril were a player-run clan made up of people who went rogue with Magi class. The Magi knew they were there, and would try to screen people during interviews and the likes to make sure they weren't just coming for the class to join their opposing "org".

You can find it really easily if you google it though.
I can't explain this image maybe someone else can.
Inaris drew this picture of Elene back in the day. It's still an accurate depiction of Elene now!
