    OK I'll have a go!

    1. My name is Ashley, I'm 28 and live in Chicago.

    2. I was born in Austin, Texas and that's where I grew up and identify as home.

    3. I've never been really good at anything, throughout my life the phrase: "Jack of all trades but king of none" has been repeated by many a teacher, colleague, sibling, parent etc.

    4. I'm ok with that, not everyone can be the best at something, and really, I lack the focus to pour myself into any one thing. I prefer to start something, get the general feel and move on to experience something else.

    5. I may be a bit scattered

    6. As a kid I was involved in a lot of things, girlscouts, sports (wrestling, swimming, lacrosse), music, lots of clubs.

    7. The result was that I didn't really know that many people, but I was super tight with my cousins and sisters, so I didn't notice so much.

    8. I said I was involved in music, this meant from ages 10-18 I spent every Saturday from 8am - 2pm at a university studying music thoery, aural lessons, orchestral music and private lessons. I rarely went to sleepovers in my youth because of it.

    9. Currently I'm working on a Masters in Applied Mathematics and I have a BA in music.

    10. I'll never do anything with the BA in music other than possibly form a Breeders tribute band or a Salt n Pepa one....I've not decided yet.

    11. I'm fairly outgoing and talkative. I find it easy to meet and relate to people, however this does not equate to forming close friendships. As a result, since I've moved from Texas (and away from my family), I've begun to realize how much my social life had been supplemented by spending time with my cousins and sisters.

    12. I started playing MUDs when I 23. I was in a really bad relationship at the time, and had been looking for something to pour my time into that would help me distance myself from the relationship. It worked.

    13. In fact I failed a year of college because of how much I was able to pour myself into the MUD.

    14. That same year that I started playing the Mud, my roommate died from a drinking and driving accident. It wasn't one of those things where it was a bad car crash and the person died on impact. She got a concussion that resulted in a brain hemorrhage and died two weeks after the crash. I didn't know what to do or how to care for her, I didn't realize she was dying in that two weeks. To this day I think about it and wonder how things would have played out if I'd done something a bit different.

    15. Her death sobered me quite a bit, not that I was a wild person, but I certainly had my share of stints at a bar or drinking and being reckless. More than sobered me, it changed the way I viewed the world and myself and it resulted in me becoming calmer and more secure person.

    16. I have a boyfriend that I've been dating for a little over five years.

    17. When we met, I was fairly resolved to that I'd probably not meet anyone that I could relate to and spend my time with. Then there was this boy who caught my eye. We started talking and one of the first thing he asks me is, do I know what a MUD is. Talk about swooooon. :p

    18. That being said, we don't play MUDs together. He doesn't take any of it seriously, and is actually just a troll who finds trolling Muds to be the most rewarding thing.

    19. It's ok, I still <3 him.

    20. I grew up in a super religious, Russian Orthodox family. From the age of 16 on, if ever I was feeling 'down' or just not good, my mother's response was always, 'you need to go to confessoin.' I think she thought it was free therapy. Also, it's taken my parents five years to finally come to terms that I'm living 'in sin' with my boyfriend across the country. I mean, it's been fine, we talk, but finally my parents have stopped asking me about the health of my soul or advising that I go to confession.

    21.  This hasn't resulted in me having a negative reaction towards religion though, and in fact I still identify as Orthodox. I mean, parents are parents and they're going to stress about their kids. It's what they do, and for the most part, mine have been pretty good.

    22. I think it's weird that we're Russian Orthodox cus nobody in my family is Russian.

    23. I've traveled a bit, mostly in Latin American countries, but have also been to France and the UK.

    24. I'd like a chance to live outside of the States for a few years.

    25. I've found this exercise to be extremely challenging. 25 things is a lot to come up with!

  • @Xenia My goodness, masters in Applied Math. I am finding it so difficult for my applied math modules. My pure math ones seem easier

  • SessizlikSessizlik Muffin Mage

    1. I am not interested in sharing any information about my age or where I live, because I want to remain somewhat anonymous.

    2. I have my reasons for doing this, but will not share them.

    3. I wish I could bake like Sessi does, but I fear it would make me even fatter than I already am and I do not want that.

    4. I've started going to the gym, but it still scares me. Gym people are so slim and muscular and I'm all floppy.

    5. I have no education that can help me get a job. I know a lot of things, but I have no papers or experience to show.

    6. I am addicted to coca cola and I -know- I need to give it up to really start losing weight. I don't see this happening until I find a good enough substitute. Sparkly water won't work. It tastes yucky.

    7. I often feel misunderstood by those around me.

    8. I am very withdrawn and shy, unless I can be social on my own terms. During those moments, I can talk to no end.

    9. I rarely drink alcohol anymore. I was in a deep depression 10 years ago and was close to becoming a full-on alcoholic. When I saw where it was heading, I pulled myself back.

    10. I feel very blessed that I managed to pull back in time, all on my own, despite the depression.

    11. My female cat has a boy's name.

    12. I have been singel for 11 years and I am finally quite at peace with it.

    13. Unlike Sessizlik, who's a semi-vegetarian, I love my meat. All kinds, except for fish and such. There's nothing like a bloody steak.

    14. I would love to do some traveling, but I cannot afford it.

    15. Places I would like to see are, for example, Angkor Vat, Machu Pichu, Valley of the Kings, the city of Petra, Tokyo, San Diego and the Australian east coast. Most of those places are because I love history. Tokyo is because of the culture -and- history and San Diego because of San Diego zoo and the fact that I have a friend from there. As for Australia, the colonization fascinates me a lot.

    16. There are far too many things I would love to do, but can't afford. When I get rich and famous though....

    17. I don't think I will ever be rich and famous, mainly because I don't have many skills to show off.

    18. I don't even have a plan for my life. I don't know what I want to work with.

    19. I envy people who get 'famous' on youtube, mostly because it seems like they don't have to put in much effort, but they get a lot of money for it.

    20. I love horror movies, but I find few to be truly scary. The only two movies to truly scare me are The Exorcist and The grudge.

    21. I enjoy reading/watching vids about anything occult orparanormal or about odd places and events.

    22. I am very easily paranoid when it comes to the occult or paranormal. A year ago, I read a quote that is still haunting me every night when I go to bed. "I hate it when it's dark and your brain is suggesting, 'You know what we haven't thought about in a while? Demons'." I don't blink until I light a lamp, only to make sure I can see any shadows that might be moving, in case there are demons in my bedroom.

    23. I am paranoid because I actually have experienced things that are difficult to explain, some that has scared me to no end and some that has lifted my spirit to the sky.

    24. I fully believe in guardian angels, spirits, demons and everything similar. I don't believe we have been visited by aliens.

    25. I could talk for hours about things I know about the occult/paranormal/odd places and events.

This has been a reeaaally big year for me, so deciding to update this thing. Here goes nothing.

    1. Name is still Britton. I live in Las Vegas, Nevada. Having moved to and from Ohio this year, I'm currently staying with my mother until I can save up enough money/find a roommate and get back on my feet. This has been an extremely humbling experience.

    2. As most people know, I moved to Ohio to live with @Mariena at the beginning of this year. Despite things not going as planned,
she is one of the most wonderful people I've ever had the good fortune of knowing and I wish her only the very best in all things.

    3. ...she kept our pet cat, Leonidas. I am now the proud owner of two lop eared rabbits, Rorschach and Silhouette. My house also
has two dogs: A golden lab named Jack and a Shih-tzu named Sugar. And two ferrets: Bandit and Pickles (We call Pickles B.T. Justice)

    4. For the last five years, at least (usually more often) once a week, I would go out drinking and staying up late. If  I do it at all these days, it is not more than once a month.

    5. I do not have many friends, and most of them are from online. I think this has probably always been true, I just never really realized it. I also think it is because I'm not always the nicest or most pleasant of people. I've been trying to work on that. As a result, I spend the vast majority of the day in silence.

    6. I love hot/spicy foods! I've never eaten anything that was too hot for me, up to and including things made with ghost peppers. My mom (a professional chef) used to tell her cooks that they could have a paid day off if they could make salsa too hot for me. I won every time.

    7. I'm a founding member of a new guild at our renaissance faire. We're more fantasy oriented than many of the other guilds, but I'm a Knight in it and have a great time with the planning, creating and guild meetings.

    8. I recently got two new tattoos. They're the beginning of a large piece that will cover the majority of my upper body.

    9. These tattoos give me something physically in common with my Aetolia character, Neithan. We both now have runic symbols on our skin, rendered in dark blue.

    10. My favorite color is orange. I've only met a few other people in my life with it as their favorite color. (We are all awesome.) I mean fall orange, like leaves and pumpkins. Not obnoxious caution orange.

    11. I have a (currently small) collection of wooden shields. The first one I got, Mari painted for me with an Auvryeth symbol. It inspired me to keep going. It takes me a lot longer to get them finished, because I suck at painting and drawing, but I'm collecting shields and painting them with the symbols/sayings of my assorted families and things from my favorite games. I currently have: Auvryeth and Ridire, from Aetolia. Vian'Cirith from Imperian.

    12. This year, as stated, has been crazy. One good thing that came out of it is my job. I am a bar back at the Mirage Hotel and Casino, on the Las Vegas Strip. I get paid a rather absurd amount of money to stock beer and take out trash.

    13. Despite having hundreds and hundreds of songs on my computer, I've been having a very hard time making myself listen to anything but the Protomen for a while now. They're just so damn good.

    14. My friend Jill at work calls me Rob. There's nothing even remotely related to Rob or Robert in my name. One day, she said, "So, I was thinking about it. You don't look like a Britton. You look like a Rob. I'm gonna call you Rob." - I didn't protest, and so. She now actually calls me Rob.

    15. I collect model boats and other nautical themed things. I own three ships in bottles, a huge model of the Black Pearl, a wooden fishing boat and a tiny boat made out of driftwood and seashells.

    16. I get angry at Game of Thrones memorabilia. My favorite House has yet to be introduced in the show, so finding things with their symbol on it is difficult. I don't want the Stark wolf or Targaryen dragons, damn you! I want Martell's sun and spear!

    17. I recently bought a Nintendo 3DS, mostly to play the new Pokemon games. I then stumbled across a copy of Final Fantasy 4 DS. Poke-what?

    18. Where once I was an impulsive, generally reckless person, I've grown up quite a bit. I may not look at every angle prior to acting, but I'm much more likely to stop and think before going ahead with something now.

    19.  Nearly a fourth of my bedroom is taken up by stacks of books. One day, I will own my own library!

    20. I'd like to have children one day. I'm not sure if that is in the cards. If I ever have a daughter, I'll be wrapped around her little finger from the day she's born.

    21. In the next five years I am: Going to Mardi Gras, leaving the country for the first time (I plan on visiting Daingean in Canada), dressing in my Slytherin robes and going to Hogwarts and if I can manage it, going to Australia and New Zealand. I'm going to visit the Shire!

    22. Since moving back to Las Vegas, I've read the upward of fourty books. Fourty books in six months.

    23. I love water. I love rain. I love swimming, I love showers. I like watching rivers and lakes. It is peaceful and soothing and purifying.

    24. My mom is helping me draw up/modify the symbol of the Solamnic Knights from Dragonlance. Their crest will be one of my next
    tattoos.

    25. And finally, I never understood the concept of people going through hard times and emerging the better for it. I finally do. I'm going to remember this year for the rest of my life, and because of it, I'm going to be a better man. (Also a more sober one, fancy that.)

I'm going to update a few of mine as well-

1.) I live with my boyfriend, Stabbity. He's my best friend and partner, I really hit the jackpot with him.
2.) I'm super close to graduating with my degree in social work. From there I want to go to the University of Washington in Seattle for my master's degree but I'm keeping my options open. I have 3-4 more semesters to go.
3.) Most of my work experience is as a nursing assistant but I very much dislike the nursing careers.
4.) I largely identify as gender fluid because I don't fit the convention of either role. Not only that, but proclaiming that I 'fit' a role society has laid out for me, in the case of identity, gives me pause.
5.) I'm the more aggressive one of my relationship. My partner is usually calm, collected and I'm the hotheaded one. He's the frontline defense when dealing with banks or whathaveyou.
6.) I'm currently addicted to Skyrim.
    7.) I write poetry.
8.) I love to hike and snowboard.

    1. Male, 26, live on the east coast. Refusing to give name and further details for reasons of having spent time hanging out with a few Aetolians before and honestly I don't want the drama or annoyances of being hunted down to start up.

    2. I'm going through a divorce, and at the same time have a child on the way that was conceived a few months after seperating with my wife for reasons of hooking up with an old friend and well (insert romance).

    3. I'm not a very social person by nature but will offer help to anyone who asks for help with crafting stuff and while I may make jokes about being paid for my work I generally do it because I enjoy creative writing.

    4. Aetolia has been an off again on again love afair for me for...I don't know, not good with dates but I was playing in the early "years" around year 8 and year 10.

    5. I've had well over 50 alts over the ears in each varying guild that's been out and have assisted in some class changes over the years from either abusing broken mechanics or helping write up liaison reports for skill fixes.

    6. I'm a dog person.

    7. Admittedly, there are a few people who've found out my alts and either do or do not know them and there are others still that do not know my alts and as stated I refuse to tell who they are. I will however apologize to a wide variety of people for harsh comments and stuff over the years. This isn't for their benefit or I'd name names, I just have sever problems with self awareness.

    8. Expanding on #7, I suffer from visual and auditory hallucinations that I can't afford medication for and do not qualify for medicade. Been out of work for 2 years, and due to my mental instability I have a hard time finding and keeping a job for any length of time. And no, I'm not looking for any pity, just trying to keep in the context of the thread.

    9. I find myself bored of games/shows/anime at an alarming rate. As in I'll bum rush my way to max level/form or the end of a season of anime and then refuse to deal with electronic stuff. But will constantly find myself trolling through old forums and just reading stuff. (Kinda how I got to this one.)

    10. Due to my quick boredom with things I often find myself in random and useless RP arcs that I either give up on entirely after a short chat or refuse to finish.

    11. Recently I was sitting in the ER for a few hours hooked up to an IV for pain killers and fluids due to vomiting blood and the doctor feels I have a very serious ongoing condition that I can't afford to go get checked out so I eat acid reducers and tums and avoid certain types of food when my stomach starts hurting.

    12. I lost my license due to state law requiring insurance and my lack of income causing my insurance to lapse.

    13. I absolutely abhore the state law that requires me to be seperated from my wife for a year to actually file for divorce. Even when there is a case of no-contest. I don't want anything to do with her or her family anymore but have to deal with them constantly contacting me for no real reason at all because I'm not legally allowed to cut off contact until the papers are filed, or she could file for a few things at the suggestion of her family and basically make my life a living hell for the next few years.

    14. I'm the middle child of three with a possibly, yet unconfirmed, older brother that was put up for adoption at birth that would be 2 years older than me.

    15. I'm a fan of culture of other parts of the world, specifically Oriental culture and Pirate culture and lore. Also, Vikings eat ninjas and crap out pirates. Vikings, the original badashes.

    16. Due to my financial situation I'm forced to stay with family, which means 5 people in a double wide trailer with 3 bedrooms and one bathroom. Oh yeah, 4 of the 5 people are male and the one female is my girlfriend who is pregnant and we don't get our own room because of reasons.

    17. Coming up with 25 things is proving a lot harder than I first anticipated so I'm throwing in a random filler that may or may not be noticed.

    18. I have a few very valued friends (@kerryn, @haydyn, @solaria to name 3 off the top of my head, oh and of course @Meltas) That I talk to on skype when not playing and occasionally argue with over little details, moreso one than the others, and generally feel like a d-bag over it.

    19. I want to cut my younger brother into tiny little pieces, pack him up in styrofoam, and mail him to his fiancee in England because all he ever seems to do after having visited is complain about how bad things are at the house, how bad the food is, how much he liked it over there and so on.

    20. I believe the premise of a Viking funeral pyre should be allowed at the request of the family. Or the traditional flaming funeral boat that is set adrift and then lit from the shore with a flaming arrow.

    21. I have very little faith in any form of politics, be it game or real. There is always at least one person out to screw everyone else with their actions. (See recent government shutdown)

    22. After having random interactions with various divine recently I have to give a big shout out to @Dhar because of two my character has interacted with in the past couple months (guild events not included <3@Ivoln for sentaari rpz) he's always been pretty steady in what he expects and doesn't seem to mind the few times I am lost of what to do in the conversation and basically just mimic his actions. Though I don't know if he's noticed.

    23. I've played other muds over the years but continuously come back to Aetolia for the guilds and people. Lusty and the others I've played were fun and all but ...extremely boring after about 2 weeks.

    24. I prefer canines in general over any other type of animal, other than certain breeds of birds. And I don't care how cliche it is, but I have a a fondness for Blackbirds and Ravens, and enjoyed how intelligent wild ones are and how easy it can be to interact with them. Back to canines, I have a fondness for large breeds, wolf hybrids in particular.

    25. In general I detest going out in public unless I absolutely have to because I don't deal well with all the stimuli with my mental state and like most people I just don't deal well with stupid. I was actually kicked out of Wal-Mart for telling some teenie bopper annoying little (insert derogitory comment for a female) was walking around on her cell phone being obnoxious, ran into me and then proceeded to cuss at me for not watching where I was going. I was kicked out for telling her with a straight face to go outside and play hide and go -unicorns- yourself.

@Minarel - I keep saying so but Stabbity wants to go to LA or Santa Monica so we'll see. He thinks he won't be able to tolerate the cold after living in the southern states for so long, heh.

9.) I like researching topics and, if you've ever had a conversation with me, you know I'm super into politics. I don't understand the conservative mindset at all and as an intellectual I have made attempts.

10.) History is one my favorite topics to study. To me, it reads like a story and I have to find out what happens to the characters. Having said that, there are still some characters that, if mentioned in any title, I feel compelled to read it. I'm going through a middle ages/ancient Egypt phase that still hasn't wrapped up yet. Elizabeth I, despite her many transgressions, is still one of my top favorite leaders hands down.

11.) Having said that, the one country I don't care about at all is Russia. I'm not sure why but I can't get through Russian lit, Russian history, and even Russian philosophers bore the crap out of me.

12.) I'm a virology nut. I even thought about becoming a virologist at one point. I'm pretty sure this all started when I read Hot Zone by Richard Preston back in the late 1990s.

13.) When I play DnD I almost always am a cleric.

14.) I still haven't been to a good Ren Faire.

15.) As I was typing #14 I read it aloud and Stabs stopped playing Mass Effect 2 to look at me as if I was an alien. Something tells me I'll be correcting being without a Ren Faire experience.

16.) NZ will be the next country I go to (hopefully). When I'm having a bad day, I go and look at pictures of NZ. Just looking at that country I know if there's a creator, he/she/it did something right.

    2.  Currently a consultant for an Environmental Engineering firm.  I travel a lot for this, I'm 10-14 days on the road followed by 0-4 days off perpetually.  I've also been a wastewater technician, an independent contractor to build drinking water facilities in the caribbean, a substation construction intern for the power utility, a landscaper, and a grave digger.

    3.  I love to travel, I've been to the Bahamas Belize, Canada, Costa Rica, France, Italy, Panama, Spain, Switzerland, Tortola.  I used to live in Tortola and the Bahamas for work.  When I travel I try to go diving as much as I can since getting certified.

    4.  When I was in the Bahamas, I piled in the car with my drunk construction crew.  We got pulled over for cutting off an under cover cop going 60 mph in a 30.  Got pulled out of the car and I couldnt stand (thankfully they lined us up against the wall so it didnt matter.)  Had one officer in an official uniform taking notes, one with an AR, and one with a bandana covering his face, his badge on a long chain, and 2 hand guns pointed as us.  Told him we were here to build a water desalinization plant for the Atlantis hotel and they let us drive off without showing ID's

    5. I was a child model growing up

    6. I was vegan for about a year and a half and still do my best to stick to it.  I do it for health reasons, I still go hunting, fishing, and play aetolia in a leather chair.  All of my cannibalism were written while vegan.

    7. I'm usually drunk while playing aetolia because I'm on the road for work.

    8. I've been playing Aetolia since I was in 6th grade

    9. I own 4 firearms at the moment (with more to come).  remmington .357 revolver, smith and wesson .308 deer rifle, remmington 12ga semi-auto shotgun, and a mossberg 20ga pump action shotgun.

    10. I'm bad with relationships so I usually don't get much farther than dating... if that.  Longest was 2 months.  Doesn't stop me from having fun though, suits my ridiculous amount of traveling for work.

    11. I <3 rpgs, especially Morrowind and ffvii-x.  Also loved the vamps bloodline game and the witcher.  Put waaay too much time into those.

    12. I have a dog, she is my "little girl" weighing in at 100 pounds.  Unfortunately she lives with my mom because I'm never home.

    13. I have 3 tattoos.  A swedish flag on my calf, a killer whale in a pacific northwest style on my forearm, and a mermaid on shore with a large wave breaking over a dive flag across my back.

    14.  I love to read books or listen to books on tape.  Big fan of Ernest Hemingway

    15. I'm not a cat person, unicorns to you

    16. My first trip to Costa Rica was on a fellowship project to study the effects of pollinators and ground cover crops on coffee production.

    17. I have an associates of engineering in civil/envirnomental engineering, and a bachelors of science in sustainable design with a focus of green site design

    18.  I got into beer brewing irl for a while as well as making maple syrup!  No time for it anymore!... I also kept bees and made mead

    19.  I've partied harder than I ever should have gotten away with, and still have never been arrested

    20. I'm terrified of heights and the spiders that have gotten away

    21.  I watch too many movies, I really enjoy Guy Ritchie films despite him usually biting off more than he can chew with his plots

    22. I watch too much stand up comedy

    23. <3 me some  Cthulhu  pencil and paper games

    24. My irl social life has no idea what MUDs are or that I have spent a fortune on play aetolia

    25.  I love to cook!

  • I have been debating whether or not to do one of these for a while but its 4am and I am extremely board and can’t sleep so why not.

I think you win for coming off as one of the most interesting people IRL. The least of which being that you're repping my favorite animal on a tattoo, did you post a picture of this on the Pictures thread? (I don't check it very often)

@Jensen Holy damn! I had no idea you lived in Btown. There is a 45% chance we know each other. I lived on North Winooski Ave for a couple of years and I've raised money for environmental causes before. I lived in no-wheresville Johnson and Milton, VT before I moved to Burlington. Small world, eh? :)

17.) I have traveled all over the US and have lived everywhere from California to Vermont. I was born in Arkansas and graduated high school in Vermont. Most of that is because my parents are/were nomadic. The only states I haven't been to are Washington state and Oregon.

18.) I've been to Mexico and Canada. Montreal is one f my favorite places to visit.

19.) I was on the Community Justice Board in Burlington for a bit. I've interned with a few local politicians as well.

20.) Recently I've been investing more time in my spiritual and physical health as opposed to getting involved with community/politics. Of course I'm still doing a few things here and there but I'm attempting to be more stringent in my diet and about engaging in physical activity. So far the only workouts I can see myself sticking to are yoga and boxing. I've gone back to Buddhism, not that I've ever really left. I'm a really bad Buddhist, all told but I'm working on it.

21.) I felt super pretentious the whole time I was writing 19.

22.) I'm on my fifth week of my soda/sugar detox. I've lost half an inch around my waist and my skin is clearing up. I feel 5x more confident today than I did 5 weeks ago about being able to get in shape.

23.) My friends joke with me about seeing me on a political ballot but I don't think that'll happen. I want to do a great many things but I'm not sure that's something in my somewhat immediate or far off future. Who knows.

  • Oh. My. God.

He's absolutely adorable! I love Blue Heelers. One of my buddies has one that's one of the sweetest dogs I've ever met, though he tends to greet people by headbutting them. But that's cool too.

    Infin
  • Haha I didn't know about him when I first decided to get him because I live in an apartment and they are high energy, but he is the best dog I have ever had. Once he gets a little bigger I am going to get a Red Heeler so he has a friend when I am at work

  • Talked myself out of posting because I don't know any of you yet. Talked myself into it because there is only one way to fix that.

    1. I'm 28.

    2. I grew up in the midwest.

    3. Currently stomping around the Pacific Northwest, although I spent five years on the east coast before this.

    4. I thoroughly enjoy camping, and backpacking in particular.

    5. I'm a fan of good beer, although you can easily win me over with a nice glass of whiskey. Preferably scotch. I will find a pub wherever I go.

    6. I'm a bit of a fitness enthusiast.

    7. I'm 5'8", and my weight shifts from 190-200+ depending on the workouts I'm doing. Currently lifting more. 215.

    8. Rock and metal music are my go-to's, along with fantasy books. Although I'll listen to anything with a guitar, and I'll read just about anything.

    9. I grew up with bikes, and raced motocross for a couple of years.

    10. I've mudded since I was about 11.

    11. I grew up on ROM codebase PK muds.

    12. I've got a character on Lusternia that I played a bit, but Aetolia is probably the first real RP mud I've messed around with significantly.

    13. I'm a big fan of football. The American kind. Scarce on Sundays. Colts!

    14. I built houses for several years, and RVs for a couple when I was younger. Blue collar roots.

    15. I work a lot, and I travel quite a bit. I've been all across America and a few other countries as well.

    16. I enjoy anything that puts me outdoors, working with my hands, or makes me tired at the end of the day.

    17. I like shooting. I've put several hundred thousand rounds down range between rifle and pistol, at least.

    18. ^ I'm fairly decent.

    19. An 8 month old son will cause some serious distractions from your gaming experience.

    20. If you ever catch me throwing one liners or nodding a lot, it's probably because I'm traveling / mudding from an iPad. Which is tricky.

    21. I've never met anyone else who muds.

    22. I played D&D as a kid, but I haven't been around anyone else who played in years.

    23. I hate leveling. This comes from years of playing games that take an hour to level a character fully and the rest of the time is spent in PK.

    24. I am also not a huge fan of scripting, but probably only because I haven't done it much. I got by for years with a few aliases and some highlights. This doesn't work on Aetolia, in case you were curious.

    25. I've been a lot of places and done a lot of things. Chances are, if Rashar is telling you some crazy story, it happened to me at some point.

  • I'll try this, don't expect much :P

1.) My name is Christal. Yes that is the correct spelling.

2.) My biological father attempted to talk my mother into giving me a name that to this day reminds me of a stripper name... He failed.
         That name being Misty Dawn.

3.) I am 31 and the mother of a beautiful almost 3 year old little girl named Christina Rose.

4.) I have a tattoo on my right shoulderblade of a rose with her name and birthdate in a banner over it.

5.) I have been playing IRE games for well over a decade. I played Achaea for a looong time (honors Angelia) before getting bored and frustrated and
Moving to Aetolia as my first char, A vamp from 'loch named Arania.

6.) None of my chars from ANY game has done as well as Belania is doing well, I attribute this to the fact that I am happier with my self in real life,
than I have ever been and that bleeds through to my RP.

7.) I was a God on a never fully opened MUD many many years ago. It was terrible with absolutely no back story and terribly done code. I didn't help
        that fact in the slightest.

8.) I cannot code ANYTHING to save my life. I can look at pre-made systems and adapt them to my needs by copying and modifying the code
        pretty well.

9.) I met my first boyfriend on a game called Ancient Anguish when I was 16. Moved to Seattle to live with him when I turned 18. It didn't last.

10.) I have lived in almost every state west of the mississippi at least once.

11.) I currently live in a teeny-tiny town in Illinois that no one has EVER heard of. like... Ever. :P

12.) I'm really not sure I'm going to make it to 25, but I'm going to do my best.

13.) I have several health problems that put my life in danger on a regular basis.

14.) I almost died having my daughter. My blood pressure spiked to epic levels. (health care people: Bottom number topped out at 153 before they
          got it to level out.)

15.) My daughter is worth every second of pain I ever went through. I didn't want kids, but I can never regret her.

16.) I am terribly lazy when it comes to bashing, I get as far as 80 and lose motivation. I've never gotten a char to endgame ever.

17.) I am terribly anti-social in real life, preferring to stay home and play Aetolia to going out.

18.) I am the complete opposite in game. I love meeting new people and talking about just about anything.

19.) I am a chronic flirt. I cannot stop myself from flirting, it is literally impossible, I've tried.

20.) I have so many animals at my house Y'all are likely to think I'm insane if I list them all.

21.) I was born in Texas, i say Y'all ALOT!

22.) I have a Very large dog of indeterminate breed named Kato, I have two Shi-tzu's named Jojo and Chewy, I have a terrier named Trixie, and two
puppies from Trixie and Jojo named JJ and Smalls

23.). I ALSO have... several cats: Sassy, stubbs, shady, ivory, simon and Houdini. Told ya you would think I was nuts :P

24.) I've never had a relationship that lasted more than a year.

    25.) I am proudly bisexual.

    I did it! wewt!

  • 1. I'm really stressed out at work, so instead of being productive, I'm going to do this!

    2. I often feel like writing one of these up, but figure I'm mostly an unknown player, so I tend to assume no one would bother to read it or care, however, my desire to vent in the form of random facts has finally won over my weird anxiety about no-one-giving-a-unicorn and "known" players possibly looking down on me as being unaware of my lack of social standing.

    3. I clearly care waaaaaay too much about what I imagine someone might think about me, seeing as -I- love reading them even when I don't know the person who wrote it

    4. I am not married, and have no children; however, since I have much yonger siblings (11 and 18 years younger than me) I often tend to feel like I got a decent test-run of parenting.

    5. Which means, despite my massive biological and psychological urges that I WANT BABIES. GIVE ME OFFSPRING NOW, I rationally don't want children until I'm at minimum in my 30s.

    6. I really really -really- adore babies.

    7. I'm a bit alarmed that, unlike everyone else who's written these, I have no doubt that I can come up with 25 random-ass bit of me-trivia.

    8. While it's been my 'dream job' for a while now, realistically, I would hate being a nurse/doctor: school stresses me out quite a bit and both the hours and high-stress of the job are not something I would want to deal with.

    9. What I -actually- do is sell/design headstones. Coming the first of the year, I will basically be the second-in-command in the company, which is pretty cool, and means a decent pay-raise. Woo!

    10. I am one of the many who has unintentionally participated in Daetolia. Really weird to think it'll be 4 years since I've known the boyfriend this December. We even live together now, woo!

    11. I've been kinda obsessed with keeping pets since I was a kid, but presently the only things I have are some fish, firebelly toads and my cat. I love my pretty Siamese cat. <3 Niko

    12. I was a licensed Massage Therapist in Washington, but decided I really didn't want to do that job. I'm very glad for the training, and still work on people occasionally, but do wish I hadn't accrued so much debt from the schooling.

    13. I'm finding it frustratingly difficult to slack off at work. This probably says good things about my work ethic, but mostly I'm just irritated by it.

    14. I know I live pretty close to a lot of fellow Aetolians, and they all seem like pretty cool people but I've never really known any of them well enough to have an excuse to suggest we meet up in Portland and... do whatever it is people do when they hang out?

    15. I order especially-small non-coffee "steamer" drinks with flavoring from starbucks/dutch brothers and pour it out into my big coffee cup and work and use our crappy free coffee to thin it out.

    16. Burgerville is the best fast-food joint I have ever been to. And keep going to.

    17. I have a condition called Reynauds, because of this, I stash gloves eeeeverywhere to avoid dealing with my fingers going numb in only-slightly-chilly conditions.

    18. I am a slightly-tall human, so when I put on resonably-tall heels I clear 6 feet.

    19. I drive a cute blue smart car.

    20. I am a closet atheist. I will share this to anyone not related to me, but since I work with my family, I do not want to deal with any family-drama from admitting it to them and it trickling through the grape vine.

    21. It took me a long time to forgive my father for being a crappy parent. I've never told HIM I forgive him, as I'm certain it has never occurred to him that there is anything to apologize for, but I have seen him grow as a person a lot in the last 10 years, and I am no longer afraid of the impact he would have on my theoretical future children.

    22. Oh crap, 25 things is harder than I expected. Baah.

    23. I don't have a favourite color or song or food or any of that crap. I always hated those questions being on every freaking "about you" survey, especially when used as get-to-know-you school questions. I would make it up every time, and I tried to be somewhat consistent so that my fellow peers didn't think I was intentionally lying.

    24. I have recently become addicted to keeping house plants. I have maaaaany house plants. I think last time I counted it was around 50? In a 500 sq foot studio apartment.

    25. I'm realllly hungry, and thankfully my boss just got back from Jury Duty. Hung him high! To Bugerville I go!

I wouldn't stress about the 'not being known' part. You're still a part of the community and are therefore interesting :)
