I am loving Diablo 3's newest patch. However, my internet is made out of broken dreams and tinfoil, so it's a constant check of "am I lagging" or "am I about to dc as I attack this pack" on my hardcore Witch Doctor. Death is right on the edge!

I picked it up on xbox 360. I'm having a blast with it so far. Made a newb crusader the other day, and man. Lol. I feel like I'm driving an Abrahms with that thing.

I had a charity gig last Saturday for a group called 'St Catherines Hospice'. They give medical aid to serious cancer sufferers. At the end of the gig this woman who had been dancing took me to one side (ya I know, right?) and said she was the Chairwoman of the group. She then told me she wanted my band to perform at the Mayor's Ball in the next city over in March next year!

The Crusader is everything the Paladin wished he could be. Don't get me wrong, loved the Paladin out of D2 and comparing them mechanically is comparing Apples to Oranges, but the very -feel- of the Crusader.

Seriously, some of the things the Crusader does or says while I play has me scribbling frantically and thinking, "Totally stealing that ideology for Enorian."

The only way to play Diablo 3 is by slinging verbal abuse at Kormac as he openly wonders at the 10,000th skeleton you've killed and if there will be more like it. It doesn't matter on your class; just yell at Kormac.

Haven't sat down to the new patch extensively yet. But it looks awesome. Started new sader on the season stuff. Figure it would be fun.

So, was waiting to post this until I got the offer letter, but can't wait: I start a new job at the end of September making a minimum of $5 more an hour. Better benefits, better company, more support, higher pay, and doing a job I love. It has made my mood near-invincible since I found out.

I went to a function tonight for my fraternity and ran into one of our alumni I haven't seen in quite a while. We did the typical catching up chit-chat, and he asked me what I wanted to do after graduation (this May woop woop).

I told him the place I really, really wanted to work, and it turns out his mom works there now. We're grabbing lunch Sunday to discuss what the job is like in a bit more depth, and if I'm still interested he's going to try and see if she'll hook me up.

I'm sure many of you who've gone to college know dat senior year fear of, "Wtf am I going to do afterwards?" and I'm feeling it something fierce right about now, but ...unicorns. This is something I can actually work with.
