  He was a professor at the University, and I remember the first day of class as if it was yesterday.  

  
  

  As I opened the door to the lecture hall, the light filtered through the musty stone building lighting up the particles of dust before the stairway leading downwards to a dais.  A dais in which he stood.  Auburn hair, a charming smile.  His name Oleis.

  
  

  I knew at that moment I was a Oleisbian, but did I even know what that meant, hardly not, for my eyes just took on the first glance of this man before me.  I shuffled into my seat wordlessly and stared in awe with my chin cupped in the palm of my hand for the next few hours..

  So my friend and I went to New Orleans over the weekend, and I only have a few pictures to share.

  
  

  We walked back and forth along Magazine street Saturday, which is 6 miles of shops, cafes, boutiques, ectr.

  We stopped in another shop my friend had been told about.

  
  

  
  

  
  

  I thought it was appropriate to take a picture of the sign. But we bought some stuff. A lucky bag and I got some hair chalk. (non-permanent hair dyer stuff)

  We ended up sitting in the car after walking double the 6 miles that Magazine street runs, for a few hours, so I got bored after a while.

  @Nola - For hair chalk that doesn't rub off on you or your clothing (as bad) and lasts (mostly) all day long, first prep the chunk of hair you want it on with some leave in conditioner. Just a little will do. After you have done this and then chalked those sections, hair spray lightly.
