Not quite sure where to put this, so I put it here!
I -love- Combat Messages. I noticed today that Frost Spike declares the venom that you hit with -
Sessizlik used Elemancy Frostpike (Kalmia)
As you guys are putting the others in, would it be possible to use this pattern for all envenom attacks? It will make third party track a dream and eliminate the need for advanced scripting and generally just make team combat easier to get into.

I kind of disagree with you there, moirean. I'd love something like:
alias sstx dhuriv combo target slash stab xentio curare
alias sstk dhuriv combo target slash stab kalmia curare
Aliases like that could be done with the server side aliases. I understand that creating a couple of aliases is more complex than what you described - but only very very marginally and inline stuff like this would make it much easier for them to advance a little bit past that absolute basic point you described, by keeping the syntax as short as possible even when they start getting the hang of it and begin experimenting.
I don't disagree with what you're saying, I just think that it's also fair to say that inline syntax would make it easier on that newbie as well.

Srsly though, I can supremely agree that come liaisons, inline envenoming will be hard pushed for Templar. Also will want inline empowerments too, to keep it the same at least. Only thing that gets tricky for us is tracking for maingauche and Engage, which takes a double-stack, so it'll cut commands down by -a- line. Certainly would love inline for Syssin combat, cut that 12 messages down to 10.

...I'm also just going to throw it out there that Irelia joined our guild and 2 days later we got nerfed via statpacks.
