"Tairu, that which dispels the shadows that have invaded the depths of your mind. Tairu, that which banishes the taint that reaches outward to your very soul. Remember it always, my disciples, for we do not forgive those who have fallen so easily to the darkness."

an excerpt from the most hallowed text, Proverbs of the Exarch

With the conclusion of the Festival of Stars, it has been decided that Bloodloch has earned the right to have an official embassy within the port city of Delve! The embassy, now built and open for the use of Bloodlochians, features a portal which allows travel to Delve from their city’s own pylon.

Though guild security was often tight before, a recent update sees the addition of ‘Gatekeepers’ to almost every guildhall, a tangible guardian to the chambers of that guild. Watch out, though, because the gatekeeper may not always be what you expect!

Followers of Slyphe and lovers of Progress throughout the realm have seen some excitement, with the return of the Maelstrom! The tumultuous god of the sea has awoken once more, bringing wrath and change to the lands. The Slyphian Grotto has expanded, now guarded by a Xoran named Jarvan with quite the history indeed…

They say that kvass is one of the most popular drinks in the lofty, cold climes of Albedos and the nestled village of Helba has some of the finest drink in all the lands. Or so the Tavernmaster of the Pick ‘n Spade, Cibor, claims.

After a lengthy and laborious rebuilding effort, the goblin and kobold settlement of lower Azdun is now open and thriving. Sounds of industry from the distant plateau of Mount Sheine have filtered down to the populace of late, sparking rumours that the tiny Grecht population may be close to opening their gates (or trapdoors) to visitors. What do the Grecht have to offer the ‘flatlanders’ from their lofty perch? Perhaps the secrets of tilling the rocky, volcanic soil of their homeland, or, finally, solid information on the far reaches of the northern ocean? It remains to be seen.

Hunters of exotic and dangerous game, this one’s for you! Some of you may have already taken the challenges laid out by Tahlv, in Delos, to track down and kill some of the deadliest and most elusive creatures in Sapience. Those of you who have already can look forward to the beginning of a new season, with wild new challenges to tackle…

A division of heavily-armed Chiav were spotted recently occupying the troll village of Craneskull, led by the djeirani Lieutenant Rai of the Dark Empire. A private missive was recovered at the scene, detailing his orders to direct a digsite in the swamp - and they are spending considerable resources, it seems, on uncovering a staff belonging to one “Hansekkaramnis,” which some linguists suspect is a very old Nazetu name. The quiet alliance struck between the Empire and the sages of Huanazedha leaves many feeling uneasy about their mutual goals.
