triggers and such

I havent played this RPG in along time was wondering since I use mudlet and use the soulrever from these forums for curing. The actual question i have is how do i make triggers and such for mudlet. I still dont know how to make a offensive side to combot and for that matter i dont have a defensive side either I need help

If you have any specific questions surrounding scripting and building a system, those can generally be directed to folks in the Scripting sub-forums.

Also, you should ask around about joining Kelsys Labs, Ltd. It is an OOC clan containing a number of coders for all modern clients such as Mush, Mudlet, and CMUD. While I cannot do it right now since I'm at work, there are many in the clan who should be capable of inducting you if you wish.

Instead of starting a thread I thought I might hijack this to ask how you guys handle confusion in your systems. I notice once I get it, it last for up to 8-11 secs sometimes or longer if I get paralysis. I added it to my herb balance table and to my tree list, so it gets picked up easier. But I still seem to get stuck with it easily. Is that normal for it to take this long and is there a trick to removing it faster.
