October in Aetolia!
Hi folks!
October has arrived and that means it's Aetolia's birthday! See Announce #3410 for specifics!
Cryptic Chests are returning to the website (www.aetolia.com/credits) under 'artifact packages' for October!
Opening a chest will award one or more prizes from a wide selection as outlined below.
Every 500 Cryptic Chests opened will trigger a global prize where one of the next 50 to be opened will contain a bonus of 500 credits on top of the other prizes!
Each Chest will also award an Iron Lottery ticket for a 1000 credit prize to be drawn at the end of the month. These tickets can also be obtained in game; see HELP IRON LOTTERY for details!
Here's what you might find inside:
- Chocolate bags, elemental globes, fireworks, customisation certificates, iron coins, and a low chance at salvage.
- Credit prizes ranging from 15 - 250.
- Various artifacts valued between 50 and 2000 credits.
- Several new minipets: a dead-possessed jack-o'-lantern, a petrified treant sapling, a ravenous little gargoyle, a linen-draped porcupine, a bone-wrought cat, and a canine wraith!
- Coffers with pieces for the following relics: fangs, horns, mummify, caudum, goldtranslocator, observereyes, raceidol, afterimage
- Scrolls for the following styles (these are now updated with Akkari, Ravager, Alchemist, Tidesage, and Bard!): drunken, loud, starry, clumsy, lazy, underhanded, friendly, crafters.
- Compendium pages for: Tcanna, the Kkirrr'shi Hive, Clawhook, Dovan, Forgotten Dome, the Squal, Basilisk Lair, and Nal'jin.
In addition to these, you will always receive a filler prize (grimstim pills, various consumables, omnipotence pills, etc). These do not count towards your chest's value.
