Calling Mortal Builders!

Hi everyone!

Aetolia is once again looking for enthusiastic and skilled writers to contribute to the game's development as a mortal builder! We're inviting anyone who has a creative streak, an interest in helping Aetolia grow, and the ability to both work to a goal and to deadlines to apply for the builder role.

Building projects come with credits as payment for work completed and don't require you to give up playing your character(s). This can be an excellent and fulfilling opportunity to contribute to the game and leave behind a permanent mark on the world. It is also an excellent way to gain experience for future Celani applications.

To apply, please be sure to read HELP STYLE GUIDELINES in full and then send a plain text email to builders@aetolia.com with the following included:

[x] Five flawless room descriptions, each a different environment.

[x] Two NPC descriptions, such as an animal or a person, and two possible attack lines these NPCs might have.

[x] How many hours per week you expect to be able to contribute towards building projects.

[x] Any experience with building or writing that you have had before.

[x] An original project idea that you would like to work on. This can be as small or elaborate as you like, be it a band of NPCs or a sprawling ruined temple to your favourite God. This is an opportunity to showcase your imagination and give us an idea of what work you may be best suited for, so make it as interesting as you can! Please keep in mind though that this is purely a chance for us to see your mind at work rather than a project that is likely to come to fruition. The vast majority of projects will be decided already or form part of a larger plan we have in mind for Aetolia as a whole.

Please include your character name in the application as well, so we know who to contact! Applications will remain open until Monday 9th May.

Feel free to message or email me if you have any questions!
