Enchantment, and the crystal aegis!

Enchantment is now available to learn as a mercantile skill!

The Enchanter's Society of Mournhold has done research into how the new density of the elements in Sapience has affected the ancient art. Through this research, they have discovered that the ambient energies in the air are sufficient enough to now allow anybody to take up the art of enchanting should they wish - no longer is the art restricted to just mages!

Those of you already trained in a mercantile skill have the opportunity to retrain to Enchantment, carrying over your full lesson investment. Just visit one of the enchanters in Mournhold (their building is v66440) and then: ASK RETRAIN

NOTE: This is a permanent retrain. Once done, you cannot change your mind and revert. It ONLY works from another mercantile skill, to Enchantment. You will need to take the lesson loss to switch back if you change your mind.

This retrain opportunity is only available from now, until the end of July next month. After that, it will no longer work.

If you don't have a mercantile skill yet, just go through the usual process of picking one - HELP MERCANTILE.

During their research, they also accidentally blew up the crystal aegis relic they recovered from Mournhold. But that's not bad news! During the experiments that lead to the explosion, they have discovered a way to replicate the technique once used to create the aegis.
- AB ENCHANTMENT AEGIS

Sciomancers and Ascendril have additionally unlocked the final two skills in their Sorcery and Arcanism skillsets, which directly relate to the aegis. Their Phantasm skill has also had a small addition to its AB file, check it out:
- AB SORCERY/ARCANISM ENSORCELL
- AB SORCERY/ARCANISM ATTUNEMENT
- AB SORCERY/ARCANISM PHANTASM

And lastly, there's a new skill in Survival related to the aegis:
- AB SURVIVAL DAMPEN
