Bladedancers!

Their super makes them go super electric ninja and they can cloak.

Nothing really beats a big meaty Titan fist though, just saying.

It's a mix between Borderlands and Halo, heavily influenced by MMO (it's an MMO. Bungie is just in denial). So if you like shooters and you like WoW, pick it up. The emphasis is on 'get a gun and shoot that guy', but you can do like I do and go assault rifle/shotgun/rocket launcher and run around shooting until you're out of ammo then chain-stabbing baddies.

There's no real 'holy trinity' - the classes play differently in a few ways, but pretty much you're all on equal footing. Maybe your special is dropping a bubble to hide behind for cover, or pulling out a golden gun and wreaking havoc for 3 glorious shots. But most of the time, you're just some dude with a gun - and there's no 'build for x'. You want armor, stats on the armor don't play a MASSIVE amount of importance.

I think it's more a difference of, 'am I really really good at killing things and bad at supporting my team' (hunters [your class sucks, @Toz], striker titans, voidwalker warlocks), or, 'I'm really (only one really) good at killing things and really good at supporting my team'. (defender titans, sunsinger warlocks).

It's Dark Souls style - there's a story. Granted, it's still getting started, but there are these things called Grimoire cards that you can get, that give you backstory and lore on the game.

There is a storyline.... but you don't have to do it. Once you get access to patrols/bounties/crucible, you don't really need to do the storyline anymore as you'll be using everything else to level up. At least, thats what I did and I just got lvl 20 and am doing a fair bit of stuff to get legendary gear. I haven't even fully touched the storyline, and likely won't. No need.

Story mode has a few rewards that make it worth beating, not to mention you'll be playing through those strikes again and again and again grinding out stuff. Plus? It's kinda fun - it gets boring playing pvp. I place in top 3 every match and have to haul my team kicking and screaming to victory v.v

I usually place in fourth. Though I hate how I never get anything good from the Crucible. -.- If I get anything at all... regardless of what rank I place.

Is anyone else not getting fireteams set up when doing the weekly strikes?

The weekly's don't have matchmaking.

You can solo them pretty easily though, so it's generally not an issue.

Some of em yeah... Phogoth is a pain in the rear though alone. lol.

Phogoth is just a massive bullet sponge. There's two things you can do: 1) hide behind the back left corner rock. The important thing you have to understand here is that the other waves of adds DON'T SPAWN if you don't move (much). So just hang out there, shoot the initial adds, then plink at Phogoth. 2) Retreat into the entrance chamber and shoot stuff from there. If the shrieker spawns, retreat past THAT room and take cover behind the wall until it despawns. Then just slowly work your way through the adds (the knights and the wizards are the big thing here) until there's just acolytes and thralls left. There's only five waves or so of adds, so once you get rid of all of them, you can go hide behind the rock and kill Phogoth in peace.

Huh. I didn't know about all that. I thought the waves would never end and you had to just kill Phogoth while dealing with those increasingly difficult waves. Thanks Serrice.
