Serrice

If you had to set a string that would be appended to all your says (like: Serrice says, (talk string), "Blah.") that generally characterized/described their voice, what would it be?

No cheating, a la 'in a voice reminiscent of Orlando Bloom'.

Damariel

Damariel says in a voice like warm honey, "Overruled."

Aryanne

Aryanne says, with a childishly affected lilt, "Whyever so?!"

Aarbrok

Aarbrok says in a brooding low tone, "...fancy seeing you here."

Riluo

In an icy tone of displeasure, Riluo snarls, "Pathetic maggot."

Omei

In a crass rasp, Omei says, "Get rekt."

Sarita

Her voice almost musical in quality, Sarita says, "I think you mistake my meaning."

Depending on what's going on, a trace of an unusual accent might come through too.

Haern

His voice a throaty rumble, Haern says, "Slam jam."

Alexina

I was going to respond to this thread, but it's hard.

Alexina says in a pleasant, silvern tone, "Never let a fool kiss you or a kiss fool you."

Serrice says, in a crisp and calm aristocratic contralto, "omg foxes."

Trager

In a low, throaty hum, Trager says, "omg serrices."

Piper

With a boisterously loud drawl, Piper says, "Welcome to the Space Jam!"

Her voice changing in tone almost manically, Clovis argues, "I do NOT understand basketball. What, what, and who designed this game? Why must you be tall for it?"

Ishin

Smooth voice far too honest, Ishin says, "I didn't kidnap that priestess."

Aishia

I think there's almost too many of these, when you account for a wide vocal range and wildly varying personality.

Voice girlish, and cloyingly sweet, Aishia asks, "Is that for me?"
Like she's talking with a mouthful of angry cats, Aishia hisses, "Mine!"
Shrieking like a hawk fighting a dolphin, Aishia screams, "Those are my plants!!!!"
So stern and imperious, Aishia says in an unusually subdued and serious stoic (yet) soft voice, "Oh crap, some sort of serious event is going on and I can't be freaking out right now."

Serrice

I think if you need to add a descriptor instead of using say, it shouldn't qualify. So like, hisses, asks, screams, snarls -- I don't think those would count.

I was more looking for like, something universal to your voice. Like, if I IRL hiss, ask, scream or snarl, it'll still be recognizably my voice, not anyone else.

Ashmer

In a soft, rattling hiss, Ashmer says, "Indeed."

Ianea

Ianea says, in a feathery alto, "Sorry, I was lost in designs, what did you say?"

Eleanor

In a balls-retractingly schoolmarm tone, Eleanor says, "I've given you a direct instruction, and I expect you to follow it."

Clicking and humming in Horkvali, Elie says, "Would like an orange, yes, yes?"

Moirean

I definitely agree with Aishia. Moi's voice changes based on situation, subject and audience. I'm a bit lazy so I kinda fall into set stuff. Here's basically like 90% of my RP:

In a curt, cold tone, Moirean nods, raises her eyebrow, twitches her tail and crisply states, "Carnifex stuff and things."

Greedily eyeing whatever doomsday device is the focus of the current world event, Moirean extemporizes, "I am definitely not about to nearly destroy the world. Again. Spires!"

Lips pursing in a tantrumy sulk, Moirean fidgets, whining, "Buuuut Toooooooz..."

Reux

Making sudden, harsh syllables softer while emphasizing trailing vowels to a practically erotic length, Reux says, "What do you want from me?"

Breathing heavily, the bass deep and powerful enough to be felt as much as heard, Reux says with a feral tongue, "...because I'm done with this play of words."

Meyvitch

Like a fox, Meyvitch says, "Ringdings? Don't mind if I do. Are they chocolate the whole way thru?"

Moirean

But what does the fox say?

fox says "Enough already! Don't make me turn this thing around!"

Zsadist

In a low, emotionless and uncaringly stoic tone, Zsadist says, "That depends. What do you want from me?"

Trigru

His voice fizzing like soda pop, Trigru says, "Gloop gloop!"

Benedicto

In an educated, rich tenor tone, Benedicto says, "Pimping certainly is not easy."

Pearle

Carefully enunciating each sound, Pearle says, "I find that hard to believe. How difficult can it be?"

Emelle

Her words a dull, husky undertone, Emelle quips, "People make most things more difficult than they are, aye?"
