I personally believe that alpha males exist. I know because I looked in the mirror.
There are many ways to be an alpharg. You could buy alpha male status but it's usually a prerequisite that you made the money for it yourself. Being tall helps but is by no means a requirement. Being good looking can help but it can possibly hinder you as well since a man doesn't want to be too good looking, that's for women and betas who are too afraid to take a hit.
What I really wonder though, is whether it's possible to be an alpharg while also wearing a man-purse and a pink shirt. I tried it today and am leaning towards no, even my immense alparghness was having trouble asserting itself. It's a good thing I decided not to add suspenders into the mix.
I am such an aaaalllphaaaaaarrrgh.

Also, my favorite shirt is pink. Salmon, actually, but don't tell anyone I can tell the difference.

Faith in humanity has been lost..... AGAIN.
Edit: Literally. Hanging out at home shirtless is a matter of tradition in the DuBois household.
... I mean, I live alone, so it isn't really a household. But y'know.
I'll just go flex in front the mirror now. Kbai.

To actually reply to your question, I think how a man identifies himself is a matter of choice, as well as 100% a matter of how he's perceived, ESPECIALLY in the context of a romantic relationship. I don't think that there is an already-existing "alpha" frame that a man can fit into.
I can't tell if you're talking about a particular cultural archetype of how a man "should" behave, or if by "alpha" you mean "dominant," (which I actually do identify as), or what.

For example, my mom just texted me and said that she's going to bring my business cards by my place tomorrow. Nothing says "alpha" like laid paper business cards with raised text. I hope you are taking notes on your microsoft surfaces or whatever it is you guys are using.
Tickets only seven dollars. Seats are limited.
