Well, this just really fits with Teani. It could change, and if so it would be to a werecroc because of her friendship with Ferrik. Nothing else makes sense.
Artifact idea: (wont get approved I know) shape shifting certificate, gives you a custom animal type based off one of the 4 existing types ie if you wanted wererhino you'd have wereboar skills and packs. This lets everyone be a unique snowflake without too much new coding for new animal types.
Man. If they made a werecat race (namely cougar (AKA MOUNTAIN SCREAMER)), I'd have a problem. I have a LOT of RP built on being wolf. But... werecat...
@Haven actually by the looks of it, it seems any animal can be somehow incorporated into a were-being status, ever since the appearance of boars and crocs. Probably if you RP'd researching into it and experimenting, you might one day get your Flock .
Amber's been a wolf for a long time and I just don't see a legitimate RP path in changing that. Besides, I like the wolf RP more than the concepts I imagine with the others.
That being said, I really wish I could have the wolf look and RP but some of the other were-type's abilities. I still consider bracing to be better than cornering. Sip bonus probably too, depends on what the bonus amount is.

aside from that...
@Ishin If you think boars are just a pork-sandwich, you're in for a woooorld of hurt. You'd probably end up the meal.

Rawr
Rajamalans lick-rub-pounceing each other was bad enough, you want to give people another reason to be all 'purr purr snuggle i'mma lapcat'?
