h-h-hot. Urge to do some kind of spirean pinup calendar rising!

In regard to the markers, by the way, Moirean- the secret is alcohol-based markers. If you work quickly with them, they blend and don't go streaky. If you let them dry you can layer over the top like with a normal marker. They're a lot like watercolour, really. I used to do Copic markers in university (and I say 'do' because they are an addiction, and at $8 a pop it's not a cheap one) and I believe they're quite similar to prismacolours.

In other news, I drew Elea and Akary to scale. I do this every now and then for giggles, but you see why I don't do it all the time.

Doot doot, shot myself in the foot with the weird angle and kind of gave up in a major way on lighting and the background, but OH WELL.

EDIT: I really need to start working with web safe colors, damn if things don't look weird between the mac and PC.

This is a selfie of my character. She is a kelki Syssin, apologies if it looks ambiguous. I'm finding my way around what a kelki actually is..

Got inspired when I saw a violin about, here's a made-up Spinesreach broad posing with one:

That looks great, and you basically hit the nail on the head. Kelki are aquatic humanoids with fish features, and they're not much more specific than that.
