First day of bow-hunting season. Ain't seen shit yet but tweety birds, but it's still nice to be outside alone and listen to them tweet their tweety bird thing. Winds are kicking right now though, so meh. Wish it'd ease off a little bit.
Still.

Got tipped $100 yesterday for spending about ten minutes going over the pros and cons of various Apple devices with a customer, who will be back some time in the next few weeks to purchase a machine from us.
Also, honeycrisp apples the size of beefsteak tomatoes are amazing, and their flavor is just as good of not better than the smaller ones.

I'm sorry it reminds me of the first 15 seconds of this :
@Gwenith - That about sums up what I wanted to do to the birds. Not because I have a particular dislike of songbirds or birds in general, but damn. SHOW ME THE DEER.

I went to Universal Studio's Halloween Horror Nights in Orlando, Florida with my husband... and dog. Holy cow, he did so well. He was barely spooked even though people were jumping out around corners and screaming and stuff, and when he started to be, I just gave him a treat and he calmed right down. It was amazing. I wouldn't have been able to go out like that emotionally prior to getting him, and I'm glad that he doesn't prevent me from physically being able to go out like that now that I do have him. He is such a good dog.

As much as I love summer fruit like strawberries, fall means APPLES. Bought a crap ton of apples today, and in several different kinds. Macintosh, Ontario Gala, Granny Smith, Fuji, Honey Crisp, and Cortland. Only reason I bought so many varieties is because I plan on making some apple pies later this month, and I'm trying to pick out the best kind to use, though I normally use Fuji. Honey Crisps have been my favorite so far for just eating. >_>
Also bought a small pumpkin today for making pumpkin pie. Never had it before, so I want to see how it tastes. Also bought some of the canned pumpkin in case I somehow screw up pureeing the damn thing.

Today is my birthday. That in itself is enough of a reason to feel great, but there's just so much more.
@Maite, @Aryanne, @Erzsebet, @Serrice, @Elie - You girls are all amazing. Whether it's RP or chatter outside the game, I often find myself smiling or laughing because of something one of you has said. And, of course, it goes without saying, that the roleplay you all allow me to have with you is just as awesome and anyone reading this who doesn't emote at them should promptly do so. Do it.
As I posted a few weeks back, I got a job and was loving it. I'm still loving it. Have the weekends off, stay late most days and it's still just so great. Last week, I was given a key to the building, and told in no uncertain terms that they're going to make me the store manager either this week or the next. I don't think I've smiled this much in a long time, especially where work is concerned.
Things seem to be going right for the first time in a long time.
