Recent XP

Anyone noticed anything off with the XP gain lately? Even with a +290% XP bonus I seemed to be gaining less than 1% while bashing a mob at my level.

    You'll have to be way more specific than that. What mob?

    We haven't touched XP since the early May adjustment.

    As you start climbing out of the 80s, levels become dramatically slower to gain. It's regular to get less than 1% from a kill at your level. At 100, with a 300% bonus you might be getting 0.08% per kill from bashing endgame areas.

    Keep in mind, some of the mobs grant less xp with the gold changes as well. It was a trade off of sorts to make bashing a little more lucrative. If you want the best xp, hunt in Tcanna. They don't drop any gold because 100% of the gain is transferred to xp.

    I believe the elemental globes have dropped in efficiency to gain levels since the change, just to give one example, @Tiur.

    Right, but the gold drop increase from the elementals is just spectacular.

    Elementals were balanced on their own to stay relevant. Raz and I discussed them specifically.
