Newbie in need of help

I started playing years ago, due to a move I stopped playing. I came back and logged in to only find my self stuck in a village that has no way out. I was brought to this place with a person I played with back when. I cant seem to find my way out of this town and am to high lvl ("due to being leveled with my friend who, isnt in the game anymore") to use portals. The village is called Vilimo Fields. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Or am I just gonna have to make a new character?

    I would suggest requesting transportation help via the Newbie channel if you haven't already. That area was reworked and rooms were taken out of play. Admin most likely forgot to evacuate it and bar it from potential logins.
