  • (Quote) Teradrim do like them. They're not at all essential for Teradrim combat in PvP or PvE, but the statboost and the blunt rune are nice.
  • I don't think events are still a thing that happen. I haven't seen any since I've been back, anyway. There was an Iron Epicurean at one point.

  • @Riluo

To be honest, I think it's pretty asinine that they're not going to embrace anymore new Abho progeny. While I'm sure that in Abhorash Discussion Comment by Veovis September 2015

I don't want to seem like I'm dogging on you guys. I do realize that you're trying to do something that keeps your players engaged and re…
  • @Areka

This has been a nagging question for a long time, like pretty much since the admin introduced the Undead and the original Teradrim into Aetolia. Va…
  • (Quote) Honestly, the compelling forces behind vampires have never been people like Abhorash. They've been people like Zoharim, Ashmer, Povox, Eshu, you, Ezalor. Erzsebet, maybe me, and the numerous others who have worked to make being a vampire a…
  • To be honest, there has never really been a successful vampire umbrella organization. All of the Imperiums were player led, and they eventually stagnated. We dissolved at least two of them that I can remember.

I'm not sure what the point …
  • (Quote) Physiotherapy sucks, but it's worthwhile. Having cerebral palsy, I've had tons of it. Cortisone injections aren't too bad, either. They're briefly painful and then the inflammation is reduced, and you feel fantastic. They're a good bridge …
  • (Quote) I own the same one, and it's pretty flaky. Randomly drops connection no matter what driver I use.
  • (Quote) Everything was new, except for the video card. I bought the SSD a few months before I built this, because it was on sale for $40. I got the 290x on eBay. I did most of the purchasing during Prime Day. Newegg and a few other resellers had g…
  • (Quote) Finding documentation on GMCP isn't all that easy. Would you, or one of your minions, be willing to write a deeper tutorial or point us to one that's available?

The only real experience I had writing code was Python and GNU Com…
  • I've been using Mud Master on iPad. I don't care for it. I'll have to try pocket mud and mudrammer.
  • I can't find my stethoscope. It's not in my bag. I'm hoping it didn't fall out on the sidewalk when it was raining, and I didn't notice. It might be in the pocket of m spare lab coat at the hospital. Those things are expensive.
  • (Quote) If you used getMudletHomeDir() or however it's capitalized, you shouldn't have any issues, IIRC. It seems to work fine when I try on a Linux VM using getMudletHomeDir().

  • (Quote) The issue with math.floor is that it will, more or less, round the number down no matter how close it is to being higher. 1.9 is 1. 1.2 is 1, etc. The trigger I posted gives a pretty exact duration with the caveat that you will see a repea…
  • Pfft. I love how @Pyop and two admin have derailed my thread. in Between a Rock and a Hard Place Comment by Veovis August 2015

  • I don't want to derail this thread, but if you're having issues getting your system to read an updated class from GMCP, you need to use STAT or SCORE to get it to update. I found this out when I swapped from BB to Tera.
  • Roleplay is alive and well in Aetolia. Bloodloch isn't the bastion of RP that it once was, but there are a number of Bloodlochians who roleplay. For me, it has been much easier to slip back in to character with in State of Roleplay, and other questions! Comment by Veovis August 2015
  • (Quote) That's why I like Teradrim, to be honest. I can manual a bit more than with Bloodborn, but I'm still struggling to figure out what to code and how as far as the offense is concerned. I'm slowly making progress, and enjoying it.
  • With the changes to Firstaid, coding a system isn't quite the arduous task it once was. Discernment makes enemy aff tracking easier, too.

The hardest part for me is automating parts of the offense for a class like Teradrim. With a class l…
  • (Quote) I have CONFIG MOBDAMAGE ON, but it doesn't show my golem's hits. It will show how much damage I do with my flail, but not the golem.
  • Can we get some way to see how much damage per hit our golems/minions/familiars do?
  • (Quote) I agree with this so much, I had to click 'Agree' and then quote your post in a reply. Look at how agreeable I am being right now!
  • (Quote) I'm talking about a much longer period of time than recently. The Dominion is a fairly new thing or The Imperium Take Four.

You're correct. Abhorash was thrown out of Bloodloch. He was, more or less, a normal player character wh…
  • (Quote) I am aware of that. That's part of my problem with Abhorash.
  • (Quote) Most guilds have people who are heavily into RP. In the Teradrim, that's definitely me. I love Teradrim RP so much I roleplay with myself and emote at guild mobs. The Carnifex are very active, decently populated, and full of roleplayers, o…

  • Aww, unicorns. Now I have to figure out how to use firstaid to see if it's worth using versus my system. >:)
