I don't know that I'd say they compromise their roleplay, so much as that they intentionally guide their roleplay down paths that won't lead to that kind of conflict. They know that certain routes will put their guildmembers into uncomfort…
Underpowered: The entire hammer path(non-hooker version). It's garbage, flat out. Kill method is terrible and the chances of pulling it off are incredibly low. It's a dead end. Hammer is really only used for bashing and Hammer Throw.

Why on earth would you think this kind of thing is hero-specific? People on the villain faction often face the exact same problems when they fail to be suitably villainous. I guarantee you, there is somebody waiting out in the wings to cal…
Autoleveling your Carnifex hounds is sub-optimal because it locks you out of trait retraining. Generally speaking you should never auto-level your hounds.

Stacking experience boosts can level you VERY quickly via bashing. Like, "I did 80-100 in two days and could have done it in one" quickly. Ask your city about chocolates and chalices.

I was thinking of the artifact, not this, but 30 lessons is 5 credits and it is still a significant amount to switch in and out of an inferior class. Even if you are getting the lessons from elite you're still paying $25/month for the eli…

If it's not good enough to justify spending 12 hours in it, it is not good enough to justify spending hundreds credits to be able to spend less time in it.
Lycanthrope is not good enough for me to deal with the 12 hour class change timer for it. It's fun to have as something I can switch to on the fly, but I would never use lycanthrope if I were going to be stuck in it for 12 hours at a time. The bashi…

Here's what those people do: Go talk to somebody like Trikal and tell them that you want somebody dead. Pay their price. They will go out and murder this person for you. This is killing by proxy in a way that works with the PK system inste…

IMO, the carnifex limb route suffers badly from a combination of multiple limb dependency and being affected by weapons rebounding and it ends up being really awkward.

What kind of atmosphere? The need to run to a graveyard every day, type "fillgem", and then AFK for 4 minutes? The atmosphere where a Teradrim can fight all day but you need to bum hearts after a few losses?
Seraph power and devotion and essence and souls and spark and all that crap is awful, anyways. It's basically just "Despite all classes being balanced to fight each other, we've decided that some classes don't get to fight as long as other classes b…
The biggest thing that helped me when I first started was just knowing that I could get up and walk away at any time to take a breather if I had to.. It's not like a face-to-face interaction where that's awkward as fuck. You can just tell them "//ba…
It's probably not "YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO PLAY OTHER SYSTEMS" and more "This guy I game with whose opinion I respect hates the system so I'm probably not going to bother with it."
To me, Pathfinder is D&D3.5 with the serial numbers fi…
The heroic position isn't awkward at all. There's bad shit going down and you're opposed to it and you're gonna fight it and stop it. There is nothing awkward about that.
Villainy is almost always harder in games like this because the good guys always have it easy. You're a good guy so you take the good guy option, and it pays off for you in the end because that's how the event …

It is also especially bad because once you pick a shapeshifter subtype you're locked into it. If you picked werewolf years ago and find that everybody now is running bear/croc/boar, welp, you're not gonna pack up.
Here's a request? Can packs and packhowl and all that stuff stop being type-specific?
I'd love to go werebear, but my darkside crew is all werecrocs, so going werebear is decidedly suboptimal for me. What's the point in letting me be any…
You'd have to recompile Mudbot from your modified source code for the changes to take effect. How you do this is pretty situational, so you'd have to post with more details for any real advice for that.
As a note, Aetolia also has a automatic curing system which is completely and totally awesome. The built in first aid system is excellent. You can use default settings for hunting/bashing/exploring/etc and it'll handle everything, no sweat. Just tu…
