Temp damage was one of the top dogs until the squish, so hardly a subpar class. A little fragile but you could overcome that plenty of ways (vigor especially- 4x the chances to crit is 4x the chance to heal!).

People who think they're reamed for bashing now, I'd suggest doing what I've been doing (though in the other direction) - I kitted myself up, and ran some tests and showed my DPS in Carnifex was a lot higher than it should be. Messaged in PvE Rebalancing Comment by Toz April 2018
