As an old person, I don't like the age artifact. Someone's age tells you which period of Aetolia they started in and which ones they have played through. It'll distort that kind of thing badly to conclude that someone's age is irrelevant.

Semi-combat idea... maybe to handle war fatigue, there should be no marching troops during winter. The active roster system was kind of meh imho but I think that people miss wars.
