Huh.. that's different.. I could've sworn it used to be that way no matter your class.. Well! I suppose not being able to do anything meaningful in daylight is a fair trade for no boons... but that's just me being bitter.
I'd say Teradrim, Templar, Cabalist are at the top. Luminary is good but does terrible dmg. Carnifex and Monk aren't terrible, Carnifex being better than monk in my opinion.
Short, sweet, but Valingar hits a lot of the points. He just lea…
I can say right here that my character's motivations for this event would work whether she chose to side with the Atav or the villagers. It has nothing to do with fighting slavers or enslaving people. In the end, I guess it would be considered a 'gr…
I can see this event working out a few ways for the Carnifex, based on what I am hearing about it. 1. Assist the Atav because Shadow Power. 2. Assisting the rest against the Atav because being able to fight that sort of thing off would be …
I can answer the second, while I'm still awake. Recently, admins implemented a Fluidcache (ie. Liquid Rift) that you can connect to a vial without having to bother with teardrop runes.
They are currently deciding on whether to make venom…

It's been a while since I tested, but without any balance, I'm pretty sure I was doing like.. 3-4 afflictions every 2.5 seconds using a buckler. I'll have to test with the new mace, cause this was pre-binding.
Nothing beyond that. The best you can do is utilize Healing elixirs, Angel Empathy, Necklace of Purity (since Care is gone now), Moss, Boar/Tree tattoos, and.. that's pretty much it. Also, it is good to make sure you have resistance rings and nice s…
@Xenia I would assume that it would simply be considered a middle-man for that. You'd still do the envenoming, you'd just need the rag to get it from cache to weapon.…
I would support a single rag! Would it work like.. you apply a venom to the rag, which you rub onto the weapon, thus using one application? You could even throw in some weird syntax like "wring rag" which would act like dumping out a vial's contents…
For the most part, yes. A lot of the afflictions are still the same, and the affliction route seems relatively effective. There might be better options out there but this definitely gives a decent foundation.
It also helps that skills in Achaea are tied directly to divine, so there's a literal RP that you kind of have to role with. Devotion is for Good, Necromancy is for Evil, Occultism/Karma is for Chaos, Groves is for Nature, and Alchemy is for cities …

Well, the best example I can provide is as Cabalist, neutral balance is.. what.. 3.25 on Decay? With EQ enhanced, it drops down to 3.06. With crown on top of that? It's at 2.83.

It was said to me that the only way to fight with any amount of effectiveness as a mage was to get Crown. No idea if it is true or not, though... but I'd go with what in What Frustrates You the Most?Comment by SatomiJanuary 2016
@Feirenz str affects divert amount, but not the chance.
Or, Or, if you absolutely must AFK-quest, remain at your keyboard. Admins do poke people who run circuits. When I was grinding for endgame some couple years back, an admin poked my half-asleep RL self through my character and I had barely enough awa…
@Questionalt Yeah.. the wording on that one.. It may be a bit outdated because I remember when I first started, I learned Teradrim despite only having Carnifex …
If you want to be a vampire in the Teradrim, you need to be embraced. Nightstalker isn't considered a Vampire, just elevated undead. You can join the Teradrim, join a House as one of the Undead, then work your Tera skills up until you can multiclass…
I can answer the apprentice question. When I tried learning a class from someone who wasn't part of the guild (or mastered) it cost me either 100cr or 200cr. I am about 75% sure it was 200cr.
One thing Serrice didn't note about Templar vs Paladin. Templar has auras(they are linked to you, not the room) and blade charge, on top of their weaponry skills. Paladin is just weaponry, chivalry, and devotion.
A bit late, but yeah. Combat, compared to Achaea, is nowhere near as necessary. There aren't really many city raids (though that might change in the future), and the only real conflict that you would be prompted to join in on (also generally volunta…
All I see coming from this is that the prices of weapons/armor will be at roughly @Areka level. (Not to hate on Areka, you have beautifully designed stuff. It is just…
The problem is that when there is a luxury that you've come to expect/enjoy on a regular basis, the moment it is taken away is probably the most obvious thing in the world.
For example, I never bought cryptic chests. I didn't even realize…
You're just forced to decide between actual quests and kill-quests, now. Gold income, or experience income. Not being able to do both at the same time is pain, but I guess I can figure out some other methods.
