The red amulet can be purchased from the mob at the ylem pylon in your city. Mogrov if you're in Bloodloch. Red orbs can be gotten by exchanging research tokens with the same mob. For chocolates, check the directories of cities or ask on market.

As far as I'm concerned, everything that isn't part of a OOC channel or clan, an OOC tell, a message, or interaction with Admins or Gods on an OOC level is IC.
If you're in public, it's in character. All of it, without exception. -

It's not really a combat perk (although some of the relics are), but it would be nice if it fired a little more often. 15% is extremely low, as is an average of 3.6 damage returned per hit.

I'm irritated that from my testing the spike/quill relic seems to have a fire rate of 15% and does 24 unblockable damage. So, the average damage returned per hit is 3.6

The racial relics generally have two uses, except for the quills/spikes and the gastric gland.
