A good chunk of the 1v1 PvP players have jumped ship to Achaea or elsewhere. I don't know that the 1v1 community is really thriving. As said above, a lot of focus in Aetolia is in group combat.

Luminary use BAL(shield) and EQ(chasten) on almost every attack round, except for a few specific attacks that you cannot. If I didn't have crown, my entire rotation would be 7% slower because I'm gated by EQ. EDIT: To show numbers, chasten with is 2…

Although it's only been about a month since the last post, I wanted to give this a bump.
Lehar has settled into the role of guildleader over the past few weeks and I've tried to involve her more often in the city/world events. -

With the recent buffs to smite, lightning(what I believe you're trying to say, not 'shock') is actually worse than smite. With EQ+, crown and more int I still did more damage with smite and less strength, from my testing.

I think the main argument is that every class that has a major EQ component struggles without a crown.
Top tier fights are based on having crown - that's just how it has been and will be until crown is no longer a thing. You can't advoca…I..really don't think there's a way Praenomen is going to get any sort of EQ buffs while the crown is still a thing. They're already very, very good against almost all classes, barring Shaman because of the strong defense towards mental affs.From one of the more prominent Luminary PK people right now, I would say that Luminary without crown would be a pretty big hindrance since we use EQ on almost every round. Haven't tried it without using the crown yet because my bal attacks with +bal…Artifacts don't have to be combat related. Look at all of the ones for the crafting skills, for instance. It can have such a limit without it being too much.So make one of the restrictions be it doesn't work in areas with active aggression or foci aura. Problem solved.I mean, people spam premotes on both sides when their offense wigs out. I'm not sure how hound switching is different than a premote, when I'm pretty sure hound switch is longer text wise and more likely to be spammy. It happens with people who medi…We found out.
