I've seen people get bashed down just as fast against the raw damage people put out even with their regular combos. I'm not really sure making these instas less viable in team combat will make team combat any more complex, if anything it'll just be …
I've been working on compiling documentation for anyone who purchases my system. It can be found at http://api.pharanyx.com/tripwire/, This should also serve to give people a better idea…
The problem I've had with ranged is how much you can dish out from afar, and the lack of risk you take versus being in the room in a conflict. This is only worsened by having the ability to remain undetected in Phase, and come out shooting. With the…

Maybe it would help to have liaisons post weekly updates on things being done, given that they are our...liaisons. Wouldn't be a bad thing, and I can only assume they have at least some idea of what is going on. If that isn't th…
I had an instance where I actually crashed Mudlet (leave it up for days might be bad), and Rou was kind enough to let me reset. So at least he wasn't too much of a slippery bastard.

It is a good thing to hear that. The biggest problem a lot of games I've played face is lack of communication regarding what is going on in the background. People are generally ok with things being done carefully and with good t…
Fighting as a Templar with no combat runes, and exploring different kill methods (Belgarion had a pretty damn good grip on this class), I think they seem fine. Other classes (that rely on their momentum concept) seem to have that as a crutch in some…
I can SPAM Paralysis as a Templar with a 1.97 DSK and STILL get hangedman spammed by an Indorani. I don't think I'd even have the opportunity to even TRY to break arms to stop hangedman spamming reliably.

I can guarantee it is all Conner's doing on his own. I doubt Ezalor goes, "Hey Conner, go use your completely broken artibow to just bash people from out of room with no risk to yourself."
The reason I used phpTables was to use of a key/value table while maintaining the order of the way it was defined. It was my first sloppy way of doing curing "order". I don't think I really use phpTables anymore now that I've redone my curing.
Some of the features you speak of are there, some are not in the mapper at the moment. I have a feature to allow you to store a persistent list of custom exits (and will be looking into doing a crowd sourcing type feature, so that anyone using my ma…
It is a full Mudlet system with an awesome UI. As far as curing goes they are both comparable. The advantage you have on Tripwire is that you have full access to the code so you can easily modify or override things if you really want to.
It happens every 10 minutes behind the scenes, and only notifies you if there is a new version greater than what you have. It will re-notify every 10 minutes, unless you click to ignore for that version.
No, it is the attuned feather fetish that we string to our Quarterstaff. Stormtouched is caused/cured by curing two herb afflictions with the same cure if a shaman has that fetish attuned to you.
Yes, since one of the main skills we have that we use to gain energy and start giving some aff pressure also uses Loki, we have a skill (Shaman Spiritsight) that lets us discern which affliction the loki venom delivers.
I'll certainly agree that Templar DSKs with Scimitar + serration + damage + hemorrage spamming is crazy damage and is probably worse or on par with Lumi lightning. It even requires less artis to do it than Luminary Lightning I believe.
The whole draw to this game for me (in terms of combat) has always been the complex affliction system. If you can simply bypass that with a fat wallet, then all the draw to it is lost for myself.
Just as a note, I intentionally built a stack that had paralysis and magic impaired at the top to fight you and Illidan (I knew I'd have to contend against heavy damage offenses that were magic based), and yet you still autobashed me to death. Grant…
Really don't understand people who insist on hunting Minor foci, and whine and complain every time I hunt them down. I got crap today for preparing to kill someone after they were clearly searching for the minor foci in an area. If you don't want co…
