That is never the only means of affecting change; if you think it is, I doubt you're caring all that hard. There are several object lessons in precisely this cited in the thread.
So I would be lying to say that the Aetolia side of this hasn't gone on the backburner along with my interest in Aetolia in general, but the reason I was in these forums to begin with was to announce that I'd be going over this in the next few days …
I have been inactive, only really occasionally logging in to bash or test things on my system to make sure changes in Imperian didn't break Aetolia stuff, so take my opinion for what it is. However, given that stuff like this is exactly why I have …
Best way on TF or mudlet is to timestamp your last command and compare time to the last sent command, if it has not exceeded that time, then queue the action.
I really hate how unproductive I can be sometimes with my condition. The days when its not bothering me too much stand in stark contrast to those where it is. I wish I could get fixed, but that ain't going to happen.
For those wondering about the release here: next few days, probably. Working on ironing out the bugs that existed before I was hospitalised and getting the MUDs on as equal a keel as possible, then going to post them here and on the Aetolia forums.…
I liked the city/guild tether change. I didn't at first, I was pretty concerned by it, but particularly in the Templar, it fit the rp. Templar are tied to Enorian and it's values, so if a player doesn't agree with Eno's values, wh…
I have it going pretty well with Imperian, Aetolia needs changes due to backend changes to fully separate the MUD scripts and make it so that you can use different parts individually.
First of all, apologies, I kind of fell off the face of the internet for a while, and this was left hanging. I was in the hospital for a long, long stretch. I'm starting to get back into things, though I must confess as an aside that I find the ne…
@Muajruhlor The graphical alignment issues have to do with me redoing the UI slightly to accommodate changes mudlet made to the base space in 1080p and also…

To explain the comparison: Imperian had a very similar system that was it's own. It was credit based however. It was basically their answer to player complaints that artifact auctions were not frequent enough, since auctions had to be ra…
Tools are made available, they do not have to be used; if you do not like to use them, then refrain from their use, it's as simple as that. I feel the other segment of that argument - where you feel belittled by other people having easy access to i…

I like the idea of the "massdrop" promotion. I don't like the reality of a massdrop promotion. Imperian used to do them quite frequently, and it was always a game of chicken as to buying them.
If you use what Imperian does, keep in mind their system has weapon and armor artifacts that were a significant part of the balancing. One of the coders once said they basically balanced the DPS around a L1 artifact weapon.
Economy is a huge factor into my dislike of bashing on Mykellah. Every time I go out bashing Im basically havong to dump a bunch of gold on curatives, and every third time or so, on new armour and weapon(s). Its a huge resource sink for a frankly …
My first reaction to the post was "congratulations, I will now never bash on Mykellah ever again" Before it was miserable, now literally anything I could do with my time is going to be more productive.

So I'm picking out the imperian part of this quote to respond to it specifically. As I mentioned previously, I bashed in Imperian a lot, so I feel that I can speak pretty authoratatively towards it.
There's a very simple reason that I got Miki to level 80ish and then havent hunted again - without someone else's hunting artifacts, she stands a greater chance of dying than not, and a single death usually not only wipes her progress but also more…
The latest version of mudlet seems to have changed things and broken stuffm. Trying to assess why its not working propeely since sometimes it works properly and others it does not
Relatedly, it would be nice to have the fame stuff seperate from honours proper, like how Imperian has HONORS and then QUESTHONORS (usually just shortened to QHONORS). Some people's honours are like a freaking mile long.
